Gov. Whitmer Signs Gun Control That Wouldn't Have Stopped MSU Attack

Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer (D) signed two new gun control measures in response to the February 13, 2023, Michigan State University shooting, neither of which would have prevented that shooting from taking place. The Detroit News reported that one of the bills is universal background check legislation. The other is a gun storage law.

It's Time for a National Conversation About Democrat Racism

It's Time for a National Conversation About Democrat Racism - By Mike Miller
It's Time for a National Conversation About Democrat Racism
Erin Schaff/The New York Times via AP, Pool
Actually, it’s past time for a national conversation about the blatant racism of the Democrat Party.
Way past time.
The objective of a national conversation would be further exposure of the left’s hypocrisy about all things race-related, rather than to change the minds of those guilty of it.
Anyway, let’s take a trip in the Wayback Machine to October 11, 1991, when conservative Supreme Court nominee Clarence Thomas — he’s black [sarc] — was attacked by Democrat senators...

Thomas responded, in part:

From my standpoint as a black American, as far as I’m concerned, it is a high-tech lynching for uppity blacks who in any way deign to think for themselves, to do for themselves, to have different ideas, and it is a message that unless you kowtow to an old order, this is what will happen to you. You will be lynched, destroyed, [and] caricatured by a committee of the U.S. — U.S. Senate, rather than hung from a tree.

Justice Thomas was correct — and he remains even more so today. Ironically (but oh so predictably), the left’s despicable racist attacks against Thomas continue, too.

...“Hatred of Thomas is due to Democrats’ fear of him,” Gurdon correctly observed, adding:

They divide Americans into victim groups to whom they make their appeal, so it is vital that black people form a bloc, monolithic in its opinions. Thomas, a descendant of slaves, who lived a childhood of poverty in rural Georgia, is therefore regarded as a race traitor for thinking outside his group and coming to well-reasoned conservative conclusions. For this, he is branded an “Uncle Tom.”

And worse.

The Bottom Line

To borrow Justice Thomas’s descriptor, “uppity black” conservatives who have the audacity to refuse to live on the Democrat plantation must be dismissed, ignored, ridiculed, or destroyed for refusing to toe the left-wing line. Why? Because anyone or anything that flies in face of the left-wing narrative is a direct threat to the Democrat Party and its decades of lies. It really is that simple.

Toss in the reality that the depth of Democrat hypocrisy knows no bounds, and there you have it.

Lunch video-----TRUTH about the White Slave Trade - Forgotten History

"The (Muslim) Barbary pirates of North Africa attacked the coastal northern Mediterranean launching attacks against Britain, France, Italy and Sicily.
In their feverish search for slaves a few pirates even went as far as the coast of Iceland, raiding inland to kidnap people and bring them back to North Africa.
From the 1500s to the 1800s it is estimated that one million white Europeans, to include those captured at sea as well as through land raids abroad were enslaved. Many of these were Americans captured at sea.

The Biden 10-Step Plan for Global Chaos By Victor Davis Hanson

The Biden 10-Step Plan for Global Chaos - By Victor Davis Hanson
  • Our enemies do not fear us, our allies judge us unreliable, and neutrals assume America is in descent and too dangerous to join.
"...Why and how, in just two years, have a confused and often incoherent Joe Biden and his team created such global chaos?
  • Let us answer by listing 10 ways by which America lost all deterrence.
1) Joe Biden abruptly pulled all U.S. troops from Afghanistan. He left behind to the Taliban hundreds of Americans and thousands of pro-American Afghans...
3) In March 2021, at an Anchorage, Alaska mini-summit, Chinese diplomats unleashed a relentless barrage at their stunned and mostly silent American counterparts...
4) In June 2021, in response to Russian cyber-attacks against the United States, Biden meekly asked Putin to at least make off-limits certain critical American infrastructure.
  • But the examples explain well enough why our emboldened enemies do not fear us, our triangulating allies judge us unreliable, and calculating neutrals assume America is in descent and too dangerous to join...

As the media, democrats are silent!

Duncan Event At BYU Law School Is ‘Canceled.’

"...Believe it or not, BYU law school administrators—yes, Brigham Young University—canceled a Federalist Society event last fall in which Rick Duncan was to discuss the Supreme Court’s abortion decision in Dobbs with his friend BYU law professor Fred Gedicks. Duncan was expected to offer an approving view of Dobbs, while the liberal Gedicks was expected to be more critical. …

BYU’s administrators objected to Duncan’s participation in the event because of a talk he gave in 2021 on the topic “True Diversity Means Inclusion, Not Exclusion.” In that talk, Duncan had cited transgender pronoun ideology—the insistence that everyone state one’s “preferred pronouns”—as an example of coerced speech...

Death to the Suburbs! - American Thinker - By Rael Jean Isaac
"The indomitable Betsy McCaughey has called out the latest ugly manifestation of "diversity, inclusion, and equity" the drive to destroy the suburbs.
The Biden administration and Democrat-controlled legislatures in several states have taken the lead in this effort.
In New York State, Governor Kathy Hochul, as part of the state budget, has advanced a so-called Housing Compact that would eliminate local control and single family zoning.
  • Hochul's plan would require that high-rise "affordable" (read: low-income, taxpayer-subsidized) housing be constructed close to each sleepy village train station — mostly a few miles apart — on Metro North and the Long Island Railroad.
  • If the affected communities fail to do so "voluntarily," the state will have the power to override local zoning.
  • Those who fail to applaud this combined coup by warriors for social justice and real estate interests are, you guessed it, racist...

Doesn't seem right, does it?

Elon Musk leaves BBC reporter stunned after he turns the tables, puts reporter on hot seat in wild interview: 'You just lied!' - TheBlaze

Elon Musk has gone viral after he sat down for an interview with BBC reporter James Clayton and pressed Clayton on a couple of controversial topics. Musk was so direct and unrelenting in his responses that Clayton later admitted, "Several times it felt like he was trying to interview me." On Tuesday evening, Musk and Clayton sat down for an in-person conversation, which Clayton claims had been spontaneously arranged earlier that day. The two touched on various topics, including the massive layoffs that have occurred at Twitter since Musk took over last year as well the "government-funded" media label that was recently added to the BBC's Twitter account.

REPORT: Michigan needs $4.5B to fund schools adequately | WLNS 6 News
LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) — Michigan’s education system needs some serious cash, a new report says.
According to a report from the Education Law Center, it would take around $4.5 billion to adequately fund Michigan schools.
But, what does that mean?
  • Currently, the funding required to make sure that students are meeting state standards is nonexistent.
With the lack of funding, teachers are oftentimes having to dip into their personal money to pay for school supplies.
  • More than 90% of Michigan school districts, at some level, are underfunded...

"Yes, Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg has downgraded felonies as Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis said, but it’s a common practice among peer counties," the account tweeted.

Dimon's Little Pink Houses - by Peter Venetoklis
"Jamie Dimon, billionaire CEO of JPMorgan Chase...qualifies by any reasonable measure as one of the Best-and-Brightest.
Regular readers know I use that phrase derisively, because those Best-and-Brightest are not only spectacularly wrong too often, they also tend to be broadly disinterested in the individual rights and liberties of the peons masses that sit beneath them on the socioeconomic ladder.
The Best-and-Brightest narrative stands athwart the libertarian ethic of leaving people alone, because those Best-and-Brightest suffer a noblesse-oblige "calling" to manage the world on behalf of those peons masses, whether we want them to or not.
Thus, my annoyance at one of Dimon's recent comments:
[P]ermitting reforms are desperately needed to allow investment to be done in any kind of timely way. We may even need to evoke eminent domain – we simply are not getting the adequate investments fast enough for grid, solar, wind and pipeline initiatives...

Recently updated White House visitor logs have revealed that Alexander Soros has the ear of prominent officials and staffers inside the Biden administration, having visited the White House at least 14 times since President Joe Biden took office.
