So many lies piled upon other lies!-----Professor says ‘junk citations’ have created ‘distrust’ in academic research

Professor says ‘junk citations’ have created ‘distrust’ in academic research - RACHEL LALGIE - UNIVERSITY OF FLORIDA
"...According to the article series, a junk citation refers to a reference that is “wrong, irrelevant, misleading, corrupt, uninformative, useless, or purely rhetorical.”
...“People think they can just throw out ‘the research is very clear on this, the evidence is so clear,’ but it is all built on junk citations.”...
The results can be deadly too – Gilley gave the example of a five-sentence 1980 letter in the New England Journal of Medicine that alleged “the development of addiction is rare” when it came to narcotics.
This letter was widely cited “to support the claim that addiction was rare in patients given opioids,” Gilley wrote, citing the work of four Toronto-based academics.
The letter seemed to shut down debate on the safety of opioids – a problem replicated throughout academia.
“The reason that bad citation practices have become so endemic in academic research is because of the lack of intellectual diversity in the academy,” Gilley wrote in the first article
“Since groupthink is so pervasive, any citations that confirm academics’ left-wing biases are rarely double-checked.
And so junk piles upon junk.”..

Doh!-----CNN Abruptly Ends Interview After Migrant Makes Damning Admission About Title 42

CNN Abruptly Ends Interview After Migrant Makes Damning Admission About Title 42 - Sarah Arnold
"...As a CNN reporter strolled the streets near the U.S.-Mexico border, he stopped to ask a migrant, “Were you aware of Title 42 and that they were going to open the border like before the pandemic?”
In response, the migrant said “yes,” telling the reporter that he heard the southern border would be wide open following the Biden Administration’s decision to lift the Trump-era policy and decided to make the trip.
The CNN reporter then abruptly thanked the man and quickly ended the interview...

Their "climate scenarios" are lies?!!

The ex-military — including a 24-year-old man in desperate need of help after serving in Afghanistan — were told by the hotels at the beginning of the week that their temporary housing was getting pulled out from under them at the establishments and that they’d have to move on to another spot, according to the group and a sickened local pol...

Ted Cruz eviscerates reporter for suggesting Republicans are to blame for border crisis: 'Biden inherited the lowest rate of illegal immigration in 45 years' - TheBlaze

"You ask what I have done?" the senator asked the reporter. "I've championed the men and women of Border Patrol, I've championed securing the border, I've championed 'Remain in Mexico,' and we turned this problem around and solved it, and we went from Joe Biden inherited the lowest rate of illegal immigration in 45 years, and the first day in office he made political decisions to cause this problem, and you should be ashamed of yourself because you're a reporter and you're not reporting facts. You're telling people lies!"

25 Reasons Biden's EV Goals Are Economically and Environmentally Harmful

25 Reasons Biden's EV Goals Are Economically and Environmentally Harmful - Timothy Nash
  • Recently, the Biden administration’s Environmental Protection Agency proposed strict new tailpipe emissions standards
  • These standards would force fully electric vehicles to jump from 5.8 percent of new car sales in 2021 to 67 percent by 2032.
  • The following list gives 25 reasons why the president’s lofty goals are unwarranted and would be both economically and environmentally harmful.
1. America’s electric grid already “faces a capacity shortfall … resulting in high risk of energy emergencies” when energy demand peaks in winter or summer conditions. EVs will further strain our grid unless Americans stop using electricity when we need it and reorder our lives to only use electricity when weather conditions allow it to be generated.
2. During electric capacity shortfalls, or blackouts, EVs can’t be charged. Extensive EV mandates could mean entire cities could become immobilized during blackouts...

Danger -- Government Digital Currency

Danger -- Government Digital Currency - JOHN STOSSEL
  • President Joe Biden and the media are excited about something new: a Central Bank Digital Currency, or CBDC. It’s a currency like Bitcoin, except controlled by the federal government.
Not everyone is a fan.
“Sometimes government does things that may appear to be benevolent but really are kind of like a wolf in sheep’s clothing,” says Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis in my new video. “This is a wolf coming as a wolf.”...
  • Canada’s government used its banking system to control people when truckers protested vaccine rules.
  • The government blocked their bank accounts. That stopped the protests...
  • Of course, the media is enthusiastic about a government-controlled CBDC...

Is This Why Transgenderism Is Exploding in American Public Schools?

Is This Why Transgenderism Is Exploding in American Public Schools? - BY MARK TAPSCOTT
"...One of the left-leaning teachers who identifies as trans, surprisingly agreed with me.
“You’re seeing trends, and I am, too. Last semester when I was teaching, I had a trans kid in every classroom, and I was like, whoa! When I started teaching there was none!”
Fontanilla then provided a graphic demonstration of just how deeply the transgendering movement has penetrated American society:
Historically, gender dysphoria only affected a small percentage of children, less than 0.01 percent, and almost all the cases were boys.
Today, the U.S. has seen an estimated 1,000 percent rise in gender dysphoria over the past decade, and the UK has reported a more than 4,000 percent rise in girls demanding gender ‘treatments.’
And 70 percent of ‘sex reassignment’ surgeries were done on girls.
And now this teacher admits to having a trans student in every classroom...
  • How to explain this explosion in American public schools?

We have rogue rulers in America!

De-defining everything!-----The New Black - by Peter Venetoklis - The Roots of Liberty

The New Black - by Peter Venetoklis - The Roots of Liberty - Peter
  • "...Netflix’s casting was informed by the views of Shelley Haley, a renowned classicist and Cleopatra expert, who claims that, although evidence of her ancestry and physical attributes are inconclusive, Cleopatra was culturally Black.
How's that now?
  • First, no, "evidence of her ancestry and physical attributes" is not inconclusive...
  • Second, "culturally Black" is just word salad, brought to you by the same societal segment that slanderized “oreo” and acked up “multiracial whiteness.”
Now, ponder the breadth of human history.
Show me a culture that hasn't "known oppression and trump, exploitation and survival."
It is the totality of human existence, and it is only the past couple hundred years (see: the Enlightenment) that broke from that mold.
  • If being "culturally Black" means there is oppression in your past, then Jews (see: the Book of Exodus) are "culturally Black." Greeks, Russians, Ukrainians, Italians, Hungarians, and Romanians (see: the Ottoman Empire) are "culturally Black." Native Americans (see: the Aztec empire and "each other") are "culturally Black." Tibetans and Uyghurs (see: China) are "culturally Black." Eastern Chinese (see: Japan 1937-1945) are "culturally Black." Indians (see: the Raj) are "culturally Black." Pasty-skinned Irish and Scots (see: England) are "culturally Black." The Saxons (see: the Normans) are "culturally Black." Heck, all those of the British Isles (see: the Romans) are "culturally Black." Women in Indonesia, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Egypt, Iran, Turkey, Algeria, Sudan, Iraq, Afghanistan, Morocco, Uzbekistan, and Saudi Arabia (see: Islamic law) are "culturally Black."
  • Which brings us to "women." Since for most of human civilization's six millennia women were subordinate to men, all women are "culturally Black."...
