"CDR SALAMANDER: Build The Naval Yards Now.
...The old phrase, “there’s a lot of ruin in a nation” – well, there is a lot of ruin in a navy...
Enough. . . .
  • We cannot build a larger fleet until we rebuild the infrastructure to properly maintain the one we have.
Yards.
  • Build more;
  • expand the ones we have;
  • reactivate retired yards if able.
I’m afraid we’ll need them.--by

Time To Buy Stock In Candle Companies

Time To Buy Stock In Candle Companies - I & I Editorial Board
"Summer arrives in the Northern Hemisphere on Wednesday and it’s likely to be a cruel one in the countries where policymakers are forcing a green energy transition.
Enlightened, these people are not.
There’s a lot of truth to the old joke that goes: “What did socialists use before candles? Electricity.”
The green energy “revolution” is taking us backward, to an era in which there won’t be enough electricity to meet the demand...

Paul: We Know That First Days of the Pandemic Fauci 'Orchestrated an Elaborate Cover-Up'

“What we know is, from the very first days of the pandemic in January 2020, that Anthony Fauci orchestrated an elaborate cover-up,” Paul said. “He knew there was a problem. At 3:00 in the morning, he was emailing somebody on January 31. And that person was head of the committee that was supposed to review dangerous research, the P3CO committee, the potential pandemic pathogens. It was supposed to look at this dangerous research. But Fauci allowed it to go around that.”

Why allow a woke company control your home? -----Amazon Shuts Man Out of Own Smart Home After Racism Allegations

Amazon Shuts Man Out of Own Smart Home After Racism Allegations - By Eric Lendrum
"...According to Breitbart, a man named Brandon Jackson made the claims in a post on Medium, describing in detail how he was locked out of all of his Amazon devices for about a week before the situation was finally resolved.
“On Wednesday, May 31, 2023, I finally regained access to my Amazon account after an unexpected and unwarranted lockout that lasted nearly a week,” Jackson wrote.
“This incident left me with a house full of unresponsive devices, a silent Alexa, and a lot of questions.”
The incident that caused the lockout involved an Amazon delivery driver making a dropoff at Jackson’s home. As he walking away, the automated message from Jackson’s doorbell said “Excuse me, can I help you?”
The driver, who was wearing headphones, did not acknowledge the message, but later filed a complaint falsely claiming that the doorbell used a racial slur against him.
Even after Jackson provided the video evidence to Amazon proving that no such slur was used, he remained locked out of his devices for about a week...

Better ties with the U.S. may be about one thing: China's struggling economy
"HONG KONG...in China this week’s biggest news was a struggling economy rather than superpower relations.
A batch of disappointing data — headlined by record-breaking youth unemployment — suggested that an economic rebound prompted by the lifting of strict “zero-Covid” restrictions has lost momentum and left the country to confront long-term issues.
Youth unemployment is a growing headache for China, the world’s second-largest economy.
The jobless rate among people between the ages of 16 and 24 was a record 20.8% in May, official data showed Thursday, up from 20.4% in April...

Gretchen Whitmer’s Michigan: Red tape and orange barrels - By Jamie A. Hope
"Gov. Gretchen Whitmer announced in May she is forming the Growing Together Michigan Council to address the state’s population shedding.
  • Michigan was in No. 4 in the nation in 2022 for the most outbound moves.
The issue is that Whitmer’s welcome sign reads, “Move to Michigan - where the only color seen more than orange barrels is red tape.”..
If U.S. News & World Report’s nationwide assessment has any validity, Michigan will not see a positive population shift anytime soon.
The publication ranked the state 41 out of 50 in its list of the best places to live...

‘Name one study,’ Republican congressman says
  • A Yale School of Medicine professor struggled to identify any academic journal or study that had done a “systematic review” of the evidence of alleged benefits of giving kids puberty blockers or performing body-altering surgeries when pressed by Representative Dan Crenshaw.
  • Dr. Meredith McNamara referred to the “standards of care” developed by medical groups, but could not point to any evidence of the benefits...
“Tell me a journal that has done systematic reviews that cites different evidence that cites strong evidence for benefits of these therapies,” the Republican asked Dr. McNamara.
“The standards of care,” McNamara said.
  • “The standards of care, that’s not a journal, that’s not a study, that’s not an organization, that’s not an institution, you’re just saying words,” Crenshaw said. “Name one study.”...

Hunter Biden, Burisma-linked associates attended dad's holiday bash days after infamous 2015 Ukraine trip | Fox News

Hunter Biden and his business partners with ties to Burisma attended a December 2015 holiday party hosted by then-Vice President Joe Biden just a few days after he returned from a trip to Ukraine where he threatened to withhold $1 billion in U.S. aid if the country’s leaders did not fire their top prosecutor, according to records reviewed by Fox News Digital.

As vice president, Biden traveled to Ukraine and put pressure on the country’s leaders to fire then-prosecutor-general Viktor Shokin, who was investigating Mykola Zlochevsky, the founder and former president of Burisma Holdings, where Hunter served as a board member from April 2014 to April 2019. Biden's defenders have said that Shokin was fired not because he was pursuing corruption too aggressively but rather because he was too lax.

Did the DOJ Try to Bribe Trump Aide's Lawyer to Cooperate with Prosecutors Against 45?
“Far and away the most troubling side story to emerge from this saga so far are the allegations made by Trump aide and co-defendant Walt Nauta’s lawyer last week,” Scharf tweeted. “You may have missed it if you blinked. Not surprisingly, the mainstream media has mostly buried this one.”

He continued: “Nauta’s lawyer, Stanley Woodward, alleged in a court filing that during a meeting with prosecutors about his client’s case, the head of the Counterintelligence Section of DOJ’s National Security Division Jay Bratt “suggested Woodward’s judicial application [for a D.C. Superior Court judgeship] might be considered more favorably if he and his client cooperated against Trump.”
