What was the purpose of the COVID-19 vaccine?

"The vaccine developed to combat the COVID-19 pandemic was supposed to halt the spread of the disease and yet the British government’s own figures suggest that well over 90% of people in this country have contracted COVID-19.
Does this mean that the vaccine failed to achieve its purpose?

Understand the Biden Plea Deal for What It Is: Evidence - American Thinker
"...The son of the President was given a deal that would have never been offered to Donald Trump, and we all know it.
  • He pled guilty to two misdemeanor tax violations which will probably result in a couple of fines.
  • He was also given a diversion program for a weapons charge. The left wants to further restrict our access to instruments of self-defense – because “something must be done.” Yet Hunter lied on a federal affidavit to illegally obtain a firearm, lost it near a school, and will face no significant consequences.
  • The plea deal boils down to no jail time, and nothing to discourage further bad behavior.
The political right has understandably exploded with outrage.
I don’t want to downplay the significance of this plea.
  • It is a big deal.
But the outrage shouldn’t be about a crackhead deadbeat escaping justice.
Hunter Biden is of no consequence to our society.
But what it indicates is very significant
Our criminal justice system is broken...

Less Freedom - " we're 25th..."!

Less Freedom
"...The Heritage Foundation ranks economic freedom across the globe.
The United States once ranked No. 4 in the world, but we've been in decline.
This year, as my new video explains, we're 25th...
The freest countries on Heritage's list are Taiwan, Ireland, Switzerland and Singapore.
  • In addition, politicians ban some of our choices, like future natural gas hookups and gas-powered cars. Many want to ban contraception, TikTok, guns.
  • And on top of that, America's bureaucrats add thousands of regulations, most of which restrict individual freedom...

No problem. It's what they teach the kids in public schools.

Evidence Shows Healthy Children Don’t Need COVID-19 Vaccines

Evidence Shows Healthy Children Don’t Need COVID-19 Vaccines - David Gortler
"It won’t be long before many young parents find themselves in the doctor’s office, sitting with their little ones on their laps, faced with the all-important question: “Would you like little Johnny to get his COVID vaccine today?”
Upon inquiry of whether the vaccine is safe for their toddlers, many parents will likely hear, “Of course! It has now been approved by the FDA.”
In fact, such approval is set to happen this week as the FDA’s Vaccines and Related Biological Products Advisory Committee (VRBPAC) will meet to discuss recent requests to amend the Emergency Use Authorization (EUA) of the Moderna and Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 mRNA vaccines...to infants, children, and adolescents six months through 17 years of age...

Nolte: Wall Street Bets Against Democrat-Run Downtowns

Wall Street is now betting against America’s Democrat-run downtowns ever recovering from being run exclusively by Democrats.

“Wall Street is betting against America’s [Democrat-run] downtowns,” writes the Wall Street Journal.

“Investors are paying less for bonds linked to New York subways and buses,” says the report. “Downtown-focused real-estate investment trusts trade at less than half their prepandemic levels. Bondholders are demanding extra interest to hold office-building debt.”

COLORADO: If Jared Polis is saving me money, why am I paying more than ever?

This is where my bank account doesn’t lie. No matter how many lists Polis throws at me for how he’s supposedly responsible for saving me money — a stretch in and of itself — I know for a fact that overall my expenses are higher, not lower since he took office. There’s just no amount of savings in tax-free tampons or reduced state park passes that could even come close to racking up the savings necessary to offset the double-digit percentage increases I pay for almost every other essential living item.

The “free” goodies are the distraction a pickpocket uses on your shoulder so you don’t notice him slip your wallet.

Durham testifies that the FBI ignored Hillary Clinton plan to link Trump to Russia | Fox News

Special Counsel John Durham testified Wednesday that the CIA in 2016 received intelligence that suggested Hillary Clinton had approved a plan to tie then-candidate Donald Trump to Russia — intelligence that the FBI ignored.

Durham testified publicly for the first time before the House Judiciary Committee on Wednesday, just weeks after releasing a report that found the Justice Department and the FBI never should have launched the Trump-Russia investigation.

When asked about his findings, Durham said the FBI failed to "sufficiently scrutinize information it received" and did not "apply the same standards to allegations it received about the Clinton and Trump campaigns."

A school in southeastern England is under fire from parents and critics alike after one of its teachers chastised a student over her refusal to accept a classmate as a cat. Grade eight students at Rye College in East Sussex were subjected to a class on "life education" on Friday, during which they were told they can "be who you want to be, and how you identify is up to you," reported the Telegraph.

Academics: ‘Flourishing forests’ of indigenous scientists can ‘transform’ and ‘decolonize’ science - DAVE HUBER - ASSOCIATE EDITOR
"A year and a half ago, Oxford University Professor Emeritus Richard Dawkins took to task the Royal Society of New Zealand for its “appalling failure” to defend science.
But … defend it from what?
The New Zealand government was making a push to utilize “matauranga, the indigenous Māori knowledge system, in the country’s science courses.
According to Kiwi academics, matauranga is a way “to critique the academic disciplines of Western science” which (they claim) “are a colonial construct within the global colonising agenda.”
Matauranga includes premises such as the forest god Tane is the “creator of humans” and all forest plants and animals, and that it rains when the goddess Papatuanuku “sheds tears.”
Others might dub such stuff “faith...

Former NYC Police Commissioner Bratton: Drug Vending Machines Support Addiction, the World Is Upside Down

Former police commissioner Bill Bratton said Sunday on WABC’s “The Cats Roundtable” that New York City supports drug addiction with vending machines that give out free crack pipes and Narcan, an overdose-reversing drug.”

Bratton said, “Instead of trying to get people away from drugs, we have policies now where we have vending machines to encourage them to stay on drugs. We’re going to make it safer for you to use drugs so you can spend the rest of your life not trying to get off drugs but to stay on drugs. What happens when you stay on drugs? You want the next high. You want the next hirer high. You graduate from marijuana. You graduate to heroin. You graduate to the next thing. That’s the problem with addiction. There’s never enough drugs. There’s never enough high.

Zelenskyy Questions US Presidential Candidates Calling for Ukraine Peace Deal: ‘Are They Ready to Go to War?’  - By Ryan Morgan
"Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, in a recent interview with NBC News, pushed back on comments from Republican politicians who are hesitant to keep bolstering Ukraine’s military against Russia...
  • “If any candidate thinks supporting Ukraine is too costly, are they ready to go to war
  • Are they ready to fight?
  • Send their children?
  • Die?” Zelenskyy said.
“They will have to do it anyway if NATO enters this war, and if Ukraine fails and Russia occupies us, they will move on to the Baltics or Poland or some other NATO country. And then the U.S. will have to choose between keeping NATO or entering the war.”...

CDC Director knew COVID vax did not prevent infection

CDC Director knew COVID vax did not prevent infection - DAVID STROM

"Rochelle Walensky famously claimed many times that the COVID vaccine prevented infection and transmission of the virus.
Even after it became glaringly obvious that this was false, she kept on insisting that the cause of its failure to do so was the development of “variants,” and that the vaccine did work for the original virus. She just repeated this claim to Congress in testimony before a committee investigating the government’s response to the pandemic.
  • This, it turns out, is a lie, and she knew it...
Nobody involved actually believed that the vaccine was 100% effective.
How could they?
The claim is implausible on its face, especially with a respiratory virus....
