Here's a quick explainer on what's happening between Wagner and the Russian military | Not the Bee - Daniel Plainview

The Russian paramilitary group Wagner made headlines overnight and into Saturday after the group's owner and leader, Yevgeny Prigozhin, vowed to strike back against the Russian military over allegations that government troops had killed a significant number of his private mercenaries.
In a nutshell, Prigozhin claims that Russian troops fired on and killed his own men as the latter fought in eastern Ukraine...
Prigozhin has vowed to continue to Moscow and appears to be on his way already...
And Putin has ordered his military to crush the Wagner coup.
  • In the recent past, Prigozhin has been a sharp critic of Russia's elite class for what he said has been wasteful and profligate conduct during the Ukrainian war. He has even criticized Vladimir Putin, which is a big no-no in Russia.
Here is Putin's address to Russia about the uprising:

UPDATE: Aaaand it's over.
The greatest challenge to Russian President Vladimir Putin in his more than two decades in power fizzled out after the rebellious mercenary commander who ordered his troops to march on Moscow abruptly reached a deal with the Kremlin to go into exile and sounded the retreat...

Tucker Carlson blasts medical establishement in new video - TheBlaze

Tucker Carlson blasts medical establishement in new video - TheBlaze

Carlson described an imaginary scenario in which an airplane cabin is filling with smoke but nobody is talking about it. When someone mentions the smoke to a flight attendant, she replies, "Shut up racist!" adding, "That's a dangerous Russian conspiracy theory. Stop spreading misinformation or I'll call TSA and have you arrested when we land." After laying out that scenario, Carlson suggested that it serves as a parallel to modern American society. He said that while people can sense that there is "something very bad going on," leaders will not acknowledge it and insist that nothing is amiss.

NYT columnist roasted on a spit for his 'boot licking' spin on the inspirational 'Hunter Biden saga' - American Wire News

NYT columnist roasted on a spit for his 'boot licking' spin on the inspirational 'Hunter Biden saga' - American Wire News - Chris Donaldson
There can be no serious argument that the media isn’t in the bag for President Joe Biden but a New York Times columnist took the spin to an entirely new level with a piece gaslighting readers that the “Hunter Biden saga” is less about the pervasive corruption of the crack-smoking, gun-toting, sexual degenerate but a tale of how a flawed man overcame his addictions with help of his loving dad that should serve as an inspiration to all...
In his piece titled “The Real Lesson From the Hunter Biden Saga,” Nicholas Kristof foists off his shameless propaganda about Hunter and his crooked career politician father who he writes, offers “the country a fine model of the love and support that people with addictions need.”

Kristof’s piece was received with all of the scorn and ridicule that it was deserving of, and then some, from Twitter...

Box Office Analyst Estimates Disney Lost $890 Million on Last Eight Theatrical Releases

...“That can’t go on forever. It’s just simple numbers, folks,” Valliant Renegade said in the video. “That’s where we are. The Walt Disney Company is just making all the wrong decisions not only creatively, but in the distribution channels as well.”
Disney is facing an unprecedented financial crisis with CEO Bob Iger attempting to slash $5.5 billion in spending, including laying off 7,000 workers worldwide...
  • Disney’s financial woes come as the company increasingly embraces transgenderism, critical race theory, and other forms of woke politics in its entertainment aimed at children.
  • Pixar’s Elemental, which had the worst opening of any movie in Pixar history, featured the studio’s first gender “non-binary” character in a theatrically released movie.

Democrats tried to keep Hunter Biden IRS whistleblower testimony secret | Fox News

Every House Democrat on the committee that released whistleblower testimony about the Hunter Biden tax probe on Thursday voted to keep that information hidden from the public eye.

A pair of IRS whistleblowers accused the Biden administration of stymying U.S. Attorney David Weiss’ investigation into President Biden’s son, which resulted in a plea deal earlier this week that is expected to see him avoid time behind bars. Hunter Biden agreed to plead guilty to a pair of tax-related misdemeanor charges, but the whistleblowers claimed that it came after the Department of Justice "provided preferential treatment, slow-walked the investigation, did nothing to avoid obvious conflicts of interest in this investigation."

"It seems almost beyond belief that a film which shows medieval Europe populated exclusively by white people with traditional gender roles could upset progressive types, but The Northman is being slated as appealing to the alt-right and being a dog whistle to white supremacists.

California Drought Is Over, Major Reservoirs Overflowing | ZeroHedge - BY TYLER DURDEN

In contrast, in January, among the state’s 17 major reservoirs, only its smallest—the Cachuma Reservoir northwest of Santa Barbara—was nearly full, according to the water department.
The rest were partially filled, ranging from about 30 to 80 percent...
  • But some say the winter’s water was not stored because it was flushed to the ocean to help replenish some endangered fish species, like the Delta smelt.
  • “It’s a political problem,” Don Jackson, an almond farmer and a water board member of Kern County, said on a recent episode of EpochTV’s California Insider. “We’re flushing all the water out … instead of sending it to the people—which the aqueduct system was built for.”

Sock tans included," Bud Light tweeted when sharing a one-minute commercial.

Invitation to Visit Mass Coral Bleaching, and see the Fishes

Invitation to Visit Mass Coral Bleaching, and see the Fishes - From Jennifer Marohasy’s Blog
"I don’t think he has ever been there – not once.
But he has an opinion about the Great Barrier Reef.
Last time I looked more than 111K of his followers (after just a few hours of it being being posted) were regurgitating the nonsense message that, of course, the Great Barrier Reef is stuffed...
Too many Australians, whether young or old, voting Labor, Greens, Liberal or Teal, are mostly abrogating their capacity for reason in favour of being fashionable...
I sent Jordan Shanks the following short note by email yesterday.
friendlyjordies@protonmail.com
Dear Friendly Jordie,
I’ve just watched your episode about the Riddler and the Reef. I was hoping to see you in the water with some corals...
It was reported by Graham Readfearn in The Guardian as the worst of the worst bleached, and then there were the official aerial surveys that also reported on the bleaching. Last year, there was even the United Nation’s UNESCO people who visited – but not John Brewer Reef. They said it was all dead and dying.

This map was being promoted through March and April 2022 as showing the Great Barrier Reef suffering from mass coral bleaching with the impression that most of the coral was going to die.
But guess what: the assessment team never actually visited any of the reefs that were reported as bleached/dead and dying.
The experts relied for their stories about the bleaching from the flybys that score the state of the corals out an aeroplane window from an altitude of 150 metres.
I’ve tried that. You can’t see much. To know the state of the corals you need to get in and under-the-water. Come see, with me.
I’ve been out to John Brewer a few times and under-the-water, and even made a short under-water documentary film showing the corals up close.
You can watch the film here, https://vimeo.com/775205373
But, of course, it is never the same as seeing with your own eyes.
The corals at John Brewer Reef as filmed, underwater and from a drone at 5, 10,20,40 and 120 metres altitude in early April 2022 – when this reef was being reported as the epicentre of the sixth mass coral bleaching. Contrary to the media headlines, there was good coral cover and the coral was colourful and healthy at John Brewer Reef.

NYC LGBTQ Activists: ‘We’re Coming for Your Kids - BY CATHERINE SALGADO
  • New York City LGBTQXYZLMNOP etc. etc. activists just came out of the closet… as pedophiles
  • At least, how else should we interpret a lot of LGBTQ activists marching about chanting, “We’re coming for your children”?
"Of course, this chant is similar to the sentiment expressed by our esteemed president and his ever-brilliant White House press secretary. “There is no such thing as someone else’s child,” Joe Biden asserted in April...
And in May, White House Press Secretary and open lesbian Karine Jean-Pierre made the same creepy claim regarding parents’ objections to transgender surgeries for children: These are our kids. They belong to all of us.”...

Hunter Biden deducted prostitutes and sex club from his taxes, possibly violated sex-trafficking laws, says IRS whistleblower - TheBlaze

Hunter Biden, whom President Joe Biden claimed is the "smartest guy" he knows, deducted tens of thousands of dollars in payments he made to prostitutes and a sex club from his taxes, according to Internal Revenue Service whistleblower testimony released Thursday by the House Ways and Means Committee. Committee Chairman Jason Smith (R-Mo.) indicated in a press conference Thursday that two IRS whistleblowers have provided evidence of "misconduct and government abuse that is resulting in preferential treatment for the president's son, Hunter Biden."

Josh Hawley demands hearing after top Biden official admits false testimony about stock purchases | Fox News

EXCLUSIVE: Sen. Josh Hawley, R-Mo., is calling for a Senate hearing to examine Energy Secretary Jennifer Granholm's recent admission that she misled him and other lawmakers about her stock ownership. Hawley sent a letter Wednesday to Sen. Joe Manchin, D-W.Va., who chairs the Senate Energy and Natural Resources Committee, asking him to convene the hearing after Granholm quietly admitted she owned individual stocks at the time of her testimony indicating the opposite. Granholm's misleading testimony came during Hawley's line of questioning at a committee hearing in April.
