HIGHER EDUCATION AS MONEY LAUNDRY:

"People ask why Harvard admissions can still be bribed or influenced by the rich or well-connected. This is the wrong question: the right question is why they ever give spots based on merit at all. The answer is: otherwise the scheme wouldn’t work. The point of a money-laundering operation is to take in both fairly-earned and dirty money, then mix them together so thoroughly that nobody can tell which is which...

I expect that without such a system the elites would do their own thing without any concession to merit whatsoever – so maybe it beats the alternative.

On the other hand, this lets them coopt potential opposition. by

And Just Like That, It's No Longer an Insurrection

And Just Like That, It's No Longer an Insurrection - BY VICTORIA TAFT
  • And just like that, the January 6 insurrection is no more. And the deconstruction story is really something.
  • At the center of this narrative switcheroo is none other than Ray Epps.
"Before we get to that, let’s remember how we got here.
It took only moments for the Democrat media complex to anoint the January 6 breach and riot at the U.S. Capitol Building an “insurrection.”
  • As if beckoned by an unseen force, narrative builders dutifully lined up to receive the official wafer on their tongues, and voilĂ ! “Trump supporters” who had never committed an act of violence at years of peaceful and crowded rallies were eligible for a 20-year prison stretch.
Shortly thereafter, the insurrection became a deadly insurrection when the same media reported, wrongly, that police officers were killed by rioters on January 6.
The only ones who died on January 6 were killed by police...

Worthy thought.

Turning Point USA CEO Charlie Kirk wrote, "Joe Biden is calling up reservists for active duty in Operation Atlantic Resolve, because apparently it can’t fill the ranks of its rainbow flag military as recruitment plummets. This is not to fortify our border, which remains wide open, but to increase our deployments near Ukraine. America Last strikes again!"

If Pedophiles Ruled the World - Intellectual Takeout

"With the sobering and inspiring film Sound of Freedom hitting theatres this week, we are faced with the reality that there is a huge appetite for child sex throughout the world.
While Operation Underground Railroad is fighting the child sex movement, there is an international effort pushing it forward in the name of “children’s rights”.
  • Here is a crucial piece of background.
In 1983, two members of the Pedophile Information Exchange (PIE), a pro-pedophile group, were interviewed for Newsnight.
In the interview (watch it here), pedophile Steven Adrian said:“Our political objectives include developing a society where children are given a much higher status than today, where they’re recognised as individuals in their own right and this includes recognising their right to certain sexual freedoms.”
“It’s an obligation on society to see that children are given a far more comprehensive sexual education from a far earlier age.”...
...For children, hearing the Sound of Freedom does not mean being freed from their parents or from laws that protect them.
Hearing the Sound of Freedom means living free from the grasp of eager pedophiles.

PublicSq., a marketplace touted as a pro-life, pro-family, and pro-freedom "patriotic parallel economy," is set to go public. This initiative is the latest effort by conservatives to divest from a liberal marketplace that appears increasingly antipathetic to their traditional values and hell-bent on their subordination.

Lucianne.com News Forum - Supreme Court Considering a Case That Might Upend Hundreds of January 6 Prosecutions
"Prosecutorial overreach is not uncommon in high-profile cases.
The prosecutors pile on the charges to frighten defendants with the prospect of long prison terms so they plead out.
The state also hopes to throw enough charges against the wall to see what sticks.
  • But the danger of overreach is that a judge may want to smack a prosecutor down for bringing unnecessary charges.
Such is the case in the January 6 prosecutions.
One of the rioters, Edward Lang, is facing 11 charges and pleaded not guilty to all of them.
But a district court judge threw out the charges relating to “obstruction of an official proceeding” concerning Lang...
