The appalling media campaign to bow to government censors | Fox News  By Jonathan Turley
  • It's shocking and depressing to me that major media figures are defending government censorship
"Editor's note: This essay first appeared on the author's blog Res ipsa loquitur – The thing itself speaks.
As a long-standing free speech advocate, the last few years have been alarming and, frankly, depressing.
The censorship efforts of the government are, unfortunately, not new.
  • However, what is new is the support of the media and the Democratic Party in such censorship...

Turley: Biden Admin. Called for Censoring True Information Using Same 'Clarion Call' as all Censoring Nations

On Friday’s broadcast of the Fox News Channel’s “The Story,” Fox News Contributor and George Washington University Law Professor Jonathan Turley stated that the argument for government censorship on social media uses “the clarion call of every nation that has engaged in censorship” that people need to be protected from “harmful” views and ideas and pointed to the government pressing for restrictions on true statements.

Turley said, “[T]his is the clarion call of every nation that has engaged in censorship. They always say that they’re protecting citizens from harmful thoughts, harmful ideas, harmful viewpoints, that this is all for the good, because you shouldn’t hear these views. That’s always been the case.

They'll never fess up! NEVER!

And why is the job so low-stress?
Because since it was established more than six months ago, not a single person has called

Biden Announces $39 Billion Student Loan Forgiveness for Over 800,000 Borrowers - By Naveen Athrappully
"The Biden administration has announced a $39 billion student loan forgiveness plan for 804,000 borrowers as part of fixes in “administrative failures” that had held up relief for borrowers under their income-driven repayment (IDR) plans.
  • “For far too long, borrowers fell through the cracks of a broken system that failed to keep accurate track of their progress towards forgiveness,” U.S. Secretary of Education Miguel Cardona said in a statement.
“Today, the Biden-Harris Administration is taking another historic step to right these wrongs and announcing $39 billion in debt relief for another 804,000 borrowers.
  • “By fixing past administrative failures, we are ensuring everyone gets the forgiveness they deserve...

GOP Rep. McCormick: We've Found Email Showing Fauci Knew COVID Looked Unnatural, Knew of Gain-of-Function

On Friday’s broadcast of Newsmax TV’s “Rob Schmitt Tonight,” House Select Subcommittee on the Coronavirus Pandemic member Rep. Rich McCormick (R-GA) discussed a new email unearthed by the committee that shows Dr. Anthony Fauci on February 1, 2020 saying that scientists he had discussed the COVID virus with were concerned “there were mutations in the virus that would be most unusual to have evolved naturally in the bats and that there was a suspicion that this mutation was intentionally inserted.” And “The suspicion was heightened by the fact that scientists in Wuhan University are known to have been working on gain-of-function experiments to determine the molecular mechanisms associated with bat viruses adapting to human infection, and the outbreak originated in Wuhan.”

McCormick said, “He absolutely knew what was going on. As a matter of fact, several scientists were discussing this and agreeing with each other that it made no sense that it came from a natural selection process.”

Peter Eriksson, former head coach for the Canadian Olympic and Paralympic program, told Reduxx, "It's shocking to see that women’s opportunities to a medal were taken by a cheating 49-year-old male. The International Paralympic Committee is diminishing the rights of fairness in women’s sport by allowing transgender athletes at their events."

Cornel West says Biden committed 'crime against humanity' against black Americans - By
Jon Levine
  • Cornell West bashed President Joe Biden's history of supporting the 90s crime bill.
"Likely Green Party presidential candidate Cornel West ripped President Biden’s record on race issues, calling the Democrat’s history with black Americans nothing short of a “crime against humanity,” in an exclusive interview with The Post.
West, 70, accused Biden of spurring mass incarceration among minorities because of the tough-on-crime federal Violent Crime Control and Law Enforcement Act Biden sponsored as a senator in 1994.
The bill authorized the hiring of 100,000 new police officers and allocated $9.7 billion for prisons...

But while RFK Jr. is a progressive, he is also a Kennedy, and that fact is significant, because it points to an overlooked part of the Kennedy legacy- the role that his uncle, John F. Ex-State Dept COVID investigator calls newly-unredacted Fauci communications 'an extensive cover-up' | Fox News

A newly-unredacted missive from Dr. Anthony Fauci suggesting the COVID-19 pandemic may have been grounded in gain-of-function research is proof positive of an extensive "cover-up," according to a former State Department pandemic investigator. On Friday, Fox News anchor Martha MacCallum's team on "The Story" delved deeper into messaging from Fauci at the suggestion of a former top COVID policy official in the Trump administration, after the House Select Committee on the Coronavirus Pandemic released more unredacted documents this week.

'It Was Extraordinary': Government Officials Were Stunned by 'Startling' Spike in Chinese Donations to UPenn After Biden Think Tank Opened - Alana Goodman
"The former chief investigator for the Department of Education said the agency noticed a "startling" spike in Chinese donations to the University of Pennsylvania after President Joe Biden opened his think tank at the school in 2017.
"It was extraordinary," said Paul Moore, who served as the agency's chief investigative counsel during the Trump administration, in congressional testimony on Thursday.
  • UPenn raked in over $100 million from China-based contributors between 2017 and 2022, the Washington Free Beacon reported earlier this year.
  • This was a substantial increase from the four years prior to 2017, when the school received a total of $19 million...

Tucker Carlson interviews Ron DeSantis - TheBlaze

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R), who is currently one of the many GOP presidential primary candidates running for the Republican presidential nomination, has said that as president, he would put the kibosh on the idea of a central bank digital currency in the U.S.

If true, explains much!

Clarice Feldman--Tucker Carlson Helps Cull the Republican Presidential Field - American Thinker

Tucker Carlson Helps Cull the Republican Presidential Field - American Thinker By Clarice Feldman
"If, like me, you find the presidential debate format a rather meaningless exercise, you will be astonished at what one-on-one interviews by a skilled interrogator can accomplish.
At the Iowa family Leader conference, Tucker Carlson interviewed several leading contenders for president Tim Scott, Asa Hutchinson, Mike Pence, Nikki Haley, Vivek Ramaswamy, and Ron DeSantis.
If the participants thought this was going to be another tongue bath, they were certainly surprised.
He asked hard questions and some of their answers exposed their muddled thinking.
At least two of them – Asa Hutchinson and Mike Pence -- were clear losers and can now be safely considered out of the running.
  •  If you haven’t had an opportunity to listen to all the interviews on the site, I’ll summarize some of the highlights.
Tucker chided Pence for being more concerned about defending the Ukraine than with dealing with domestic problems.
Tucker: "Where's the concern for the United States?"
Pence: "That's not my concern. Tucker I've heard this routine from you before. That's not my concern."...
