• Easy/moderate hike around old sand mining lake. Similar to Norton Shore's Dune Harbor Park.

2.5 miles, 1.5 hr hike.

Sand and a few moderate dune climbs.

Porta potties, no parking fee.

• The Sag
• Harbor Island

From North. Take Grand Haven Rd south to North Shore Rd. Turn right (W - by the fire station). Travel just over one mile to the entrance of Coast Guard Park. Turn right.

Or From US-31, take the Ferrysburg exit west on to 3rd Street to North Shore Rd. Turn west on North Shore and travel just over one mile to Coast Guard Park lot on right. 

Park in the Coast Guard Park lot (on N. side of the road. Across the street from Ottawa Sands.)
