Chevrolet Has a New Christmas Ad, and Break Out the Tissues, It's Wonderful

Chevrolet Has a New Christmas Ad, and Break Out the Tissues, It's Wonderful - Nick Arama
  • Two years ago, my colleague Joe Cunningham wrote about the beautiful ad that Chevrolet did for Christmas with a man who is sad at the holidays because his wife has died. The daughter then lovingly has the wife's car -- which is under wraps in the barn, unused for a while -- restored, unbeknownst to the father, to surprise him and bring back those memories of the love of his wife he so misses. “It’s what mom would’ve wanted,” the daughter says.
  • It was a wonderful ad, at a time during the pandemic when we'd been through so much with lockdowns and a change in society and the White House, with mandates that may have separated us from our family members. It was a situation that we never would have thought could happen but did. We certainly needed some extra uplifting.
  • Now, their new ad for this year pulls on some of those same heartstrings, and I have to admit, yes, I cried at the end because it was so beautiful and sweet. Have the tissues ready because "A Holiday to Remember" is likely to get you too...

For the right to win, it needs a new formula | Blaze Media

Every nation is run by an organized minority of its population, a ruling class, and that class always tells a story about why its members should be in charge. It could be the divine right of kings, it could be the mandate of heaven, or it could be popular election — every ruling class invests in a narrative that grants itself legitimacy.

JFK Assassination Doctors Break Silence, Dispute Key Government Claim | The Epoch Times

JFK Assassination Doctors Break Silence, Dispute Key Government Claim | The Epoch Times - By Jack Phillips
  • "Several doctors who were in the emergency room when former President John F. Kennedy was assassinated in 1963 raised serious doubts about the official narrative that says a lone gunman was responsible, according to a new documentary featuring interviews conducted in 2013.
...what seven doctors said in the recent footage disputes the commission's claims about the event.
Jacquelynn Lueth, executive producer of "JFK: What the Doctors Saw," interviewed the seven Parkland doctors for the documentary.
She wrote for CBS News last week that the doctors' "recollections were precise and clear, as if the intervening decades had melted away."
  • "Each of them reacted strongly when the autopsy pictures were projected on a screen," Ms. Lueth wrote. "They didn't agree on everything, but it became obvious that the way the president looked at Parkland did not match the autopsy photos taken at Bethesda even before the official autopsy began."
She added that the Parkland doctors "had no agenda other than trying to save the president's life" but stipulated that those who witnessed the wound to the president's neck "believed it was an entrance wound," which would dispute the Warren Commission's findings.
"Several of them saw a gaping hole in the back of JFK's head," she said...

Do you have free will, or are you being primed? | Blaze Media

Before you paint, you have to do something to the surface of the canvas. You prime it so the paint that you put on top sticks and holds.

Priming is a powerful thing, especially in the world of cognitive and social psychology. We are being primed in two ways, and I want you to understand it. By understanding it, perhaps you can change some of the things that you do so that the paint doesn't stick on you.

“Priming” used to be known as propaganda.

Elon Musk's X/Twitter Files Lawsuit Against Far Left Media Matters

Elon Musk’s X/Twitter has filed a lawsuit against Media Matters over its efforts to link ad placements on the platform to neo-Nazi content, a strategy the far-left nonprofit has used in the past to trigger ad boycotts against conservative media companies.

In a case filed in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Texas, X/Twitter accuses Media Matters of distorting the likelihood of ads appearing next to alleged hate speech on the platform.

‘Outrageous’: DTE, Consumers enjoy close relationship with state panel that regulates them
Paul Egan, Detroit Free Press
"LANSING — When an association of energy suppliers sued the Michigan Public Service Commission over its implementation of state electricity law, it hired a former chair of the commission to take the case to court.
  • In defending the suit, the three members of the commission teamed up with one of the biggest companies they regulate, Consumers Energy.
  • They filed a joint trial brief and even shared lawyers.
A Free Press investigation found the state commission charged with preventing that from happening lacks transparency in its decision-making and gets 80% of its funding from DTE Energy and Consumers — the two companies with a near monopoly on providing electricity to Michigan residents...
