That's how legendary sprinting coach Bud Winter taught a bunch of Navy pilots to fall asleep during World War 2. It took them six weeks of practice to get to this level, but once they did, it worked every time. - The SAT assesses students on college readiness based on their scores in both the math and evidence-based reading and writing sections of the test.
- Students must get at least a 530 SAT subscore on math and a 480 subscore on the reading and writing section to meet the SAT’s college-ready benchmarks.
- Students who meet those benchmarks have at least a 75% chance of earning at least a C in college freshman math, English, social studies and/or science classes, according to the College Board, which administers the test, given annually to high school juniors.
