Constitutional expert rips feds for 'stench of selective prosecution'

Long have there been charges that there are two tiers of justice in America: One for leftists and liberals and one for those who are more conservative. For example, the government's failure to charge Hillary Clinton after she posted national secrets on an unsecured web server in her home. Others have gone to jail for far less.

This Democrat Governor Just Vetoed a Bill That Would Let Police Arrest Illegal Aliens

Arizona Gov. Katie Hobbs just vetoed a Republican-backed bill that would protect the United States from the illegal alien invasion happening under President Joe Biden’s leadership. - Madeline Leesman
"The legislation would have made it a crime for illegal immigrants to enter the state through Mexico through any location other than a designated port of entry.
The bill would allow local law enforcement to arrest these non-citizens.
A violation would be a “top-tier misdemeanor – or a low-level felony for a second offense,” according to POLITICO...

They have a problem where none should exist

They have a problem where none should exist - TOM KNIGHTON
  • When it comes to our elections, no one should want to be too careful. After all, there are a lot of countries that would probably love to screw us over in that regard, given the chance.
  • Election integrity is one of those things no one should really be against, at least not in principle.
  • And yet, even citizen oversight is a bridge too far for some.
From The Federalist:
The New York Times is fretting that informed citizens are actively participating in election oversight.
Under the headline “Trump’s Allies Ramp Up Campaign Targeting Voter Rolls,” Times writers Alexandra Berzon and Nick Corasaniti complain about voters who are concerned that outdated voter registration rolls could lead to fraud at worst and sloppy election administration at best...

Part of this suppression strategy allegedly involves the imposition of "what the NCAA calls 'LGBTQ-Inclusive Codes of Conduct' which 'outlin[e] consequences for engaging in homophobic and transphobic behaviors.'" The plaintiffs have requested the court declare that the NCAA violated Title IX and the 14th Amendment. The suit specifically claims that the NCAA's eligibility policies pertaining to transvestites are discriminatory and violate Title IX because they:

The EPA Is About to Outlaw Your Car

What practical difference is there between outlawing something, and regulating it out of existence? - STEPHEN GREEN

"Outlaw your car" sounds like such an outrageous phrase, and technically speaking, it isn't true — but only barely.
  • What practical difference is there between outlawing something, and regulating it out of existence?
That's exactly what the EPA intends to do this week with strict new rules going forward against gas- and diesel-powered cars and light trucks.
Expected as soon as Wednesday, the Biden EPA "is poised to finalize emissions rules that will effectively require a certain percentage — as much as two-thirds by 2032 — of new cars to be all-electric," according to Inside EVs...

U.S. Consumers Have Reached A Breaking Point

Over the past several years, the cost of living has been rising significantly faster than paychecks have. - MICHAEL SNYDER
"As a result, U.S. consumers have reached a breaking point.
I have been hearing from so many people that are struggling to survive in this suffocating economic environment.
It has become increasingly difficult just to pay for the basics, and so many Americans have very little or no discretionary income to spend these days...
The economic shift that we have witnessed since the turn of the decade has been nothing short of epic.
According to Zillow, the average monthly mortgage payment for Americans buying a home now is nearly double what it was in January 2020…

Democratic state senator doesn't get her way, so she threatens riots: 'Gloves out' | Blaze Media

Democratic politicians frequently concern-monger about supposed threats to democracy. However, when democratic processes produce results they don't like, they're often the first to make threats or champion violence. Tennessee state Sen. Charlane Oliver (D) recently expressed outrage over the passage of a bill that would prevent local officials from introducing policies or ordinances that limit the ability of police to properly fulfill their duties. Since voters elected not to empower a sufficient number of lawmakers with Oliver's leftist worldview to kill the bill, the cofounder of the identitarian activist group Equity Alliance suggested an alternative means of getting her way.

Hertz CEO out following electric car ‘horror show’

“They don’t want to go 20 minutes out of their way at five in the morning to find a charging station,”
"...The company, which announced in January it was selling 20,000 of the electric vehicles in its fleet, or about a third of the EVs it owned, is now replacing the CEO who helped build up that fleet, giving it the company’s fifth boss in just four years....
Part of the problem for Hertz was that even people who might want to buy an EV wouldn’t necessarily want to rent one while on the road, when they don’t necessarily have the ability to plug them in to charge them as they would at a private home...

Guilty!—But Not Really Guilty?

A cynical public now expects any accused prominent leftist to remain unindicted, while any non-leftwing target will be indicted, convicted, and jailed—for the same alleged offenses. - Victor Davis Hanson
  • In 2011, then Homeland Security Advisor to President Obama, John Brennan, swore before Congress that drone-targeted assassination missions near the Pakistani border had not led to “a single collateral death.”
That was an obvious lie with grave consequences, given that Brennan was sworn under oath and was one of the top officials in the US national security community. Yet there were no subsequent repercussions......
  • In 2013, Director of National Intelligence James Clapper also lied under oath to Congress when he laughably stated that the National Security Agency did not spy on American citizens.
Later, when called out by senators, Clapper fudged in a televised interview. “I responded in what I thought was the most truthful, or least untruthful, manner by saying no.”...Nothing happened...
  • As far as Eric Holder, he had earlier defied a congressional subpoena and was held in contempt by the House.
The Department of Justice, however, chose not to pursue the complaint.

  • Later in the Trump administration, Trump adviser Peter Navarro would be sentenced to four months in jail for similarly resisting a congressional subpoena.
Was it a crime or not to resist a congressional subpoena?...

"MRC researchers have found 41 times where Google interfered in elections over the last 16 years, and its impact has surged dramatically, making it evermore harmful to democracy.
In every case, Google harmed the candidates – regardless of party – who threatened its left-wing candidate of choice...

Explained Liberty Counsel, "For several years, we have been told that gender dysphoria must be treated by affirming the patient’s delusion and poisoning the patient with cross-sex hormones while waiting for body mutilation surgeries to remove healthy organs. How many times have we been told that 'the science is settled'? Well, it turns out 'the science' isn't settled. In fact, what the so-called gender industry has been shoving down our throats is not science at all."
