LIFE UNDER HARRIS-WALZ WOULD BE THE SAME AS Life in Kamala’s California.

Instapundit - But ballot initiatives are another story.

Life in Kamala’s California.

It’s election season, and because California is a one-party state, we don’t see very many campaign ads for Kamala Harris. But ballot initiatives are another story. One hotly contested ballot initiative, Proposition 33, if approved by voters, will enable California’s cities and counties to impose rent control.

  • How the rent control advocates make their case is typical. Greed and oppression against hapless, helpless, innocent victims. But the government is here to help!

The naked dishonesty of these ads is lost on most Californians...

Just wait until rent control creates severe shortages. -

'Treasonous': Biden-Harris spend billions on illegals, leaving disaster fund to help Americans empty * WorldNetDaily * by Bob Unruh

The Biden-Harris administration has orchestrated its open border practices to set up circumstances that are costing American taxpayers in the range of $150 billion to help aliens, millions of them illegally in America. Per year. And that's left coffers dry when citizens, facing the loss of everything because of Hurricane Helene, need a hand up. The anger over the decisions at the executive level in the federal government that allowed that situation to develop is more than simmering: Sometimes it's erupting in outright rage.

Biden Was Asked What States in the Storm Zone Need. His Response Sets Social Media Ablaze.

“I’m wondering what storm you’re talking about,” Biden continued. “They’re getting everything they need and they’re very happy across the board.” - Leah Barkoukis
President Biden appeared confused Thursday evening when asked what he thought states impacted by Hurricane Helene needed after he spent the day touring parts of Florida and Georgia that were battered by the Category 4 storm.
“What do the states in the storm zone need after what you saw today?” a reporter asked him.
Biden paused momentarily before responding.
“Oh, in the storm zone!” he said.
“Yes, sir,” the reporter replied.
“I’m wondering what storm you’re talking about,” Biden continued. “They’re getting everything they need and they’re very happy across the board.”

Toxic empathy: Why voters should support mass deportations | Blaze Media

“I wrote the book because they hoist up a victim, whether it’s the woman who needs an abortion or the mom of three who’s fleeing Colombian gang violence, and through toxic empathy, they blind you to both reality and morality,” she explains, adding, “Through this emotional manipulation, they make you feel like you’re a good person by voting for the Democrats.”

“There’s a misplaced nurturing there, and they think that they are taking care of these marginalized communities by voting with social justice policies.”

A Helicopter Pilot's Rescue of a Couple Shows Everything Wrong With the Government's Response to Helene

This story out of Lake Lure, North Carolina...is infuriating. Now magnify it by 10... - Jennifer Oliver O'Connell
This story out of Lake Lure, North Carolina, which my colleague Brandon Morse briefly mentioned, is infuriating
Now magnify it by 10, and you get an even more potent idea of the people still suffering and the lives lost because of the disconnect between local and federal officials who are tasked (and paid) to help those ravaged by Hurricane Helene and the people who are actually doing the real work...

When Jordan Seidhom woke up Saturday morning, he saw a Facebook post that tens of thousands of people were commenting on and sharing. A family was stranded on a mountain in Banner Elk, North Carolina.

They ran out of water a day earlier and just enough food to last less than two days.

Seidhom, the former head of the Chesterfield County Sheriff’s Office narcotics unit, knows a thing or two about finding people. He researched the mountain chain where the family was located and found a place to land on his mapping software...

Here's another amazing example of FEMA's feckless response to this natural disaster and its aftermath. They are sending out social media posts asking people to quell "rumors" that they are not responding and that they are not forcing local officials to shut down civilian response...

Check out their "proof"!-----Shockingly Bad Science - Kip Hansen

From the annals of the Cardiovascular Research Foundation comes this beauty of a headline above a news story Global Stroke Burden Continues to Rise, With Climate Change Gaining Influence
You may be asking yourself this question:
What could be the possible causal connection between Climate Change and the occurrence of stoke in the general worldwide population?”
And a good question is far more valuable than a good answer.
My answer?
  • There is no causal connection – not even a barely biologically plausible connection or association.
  • Nothing whatever.
But as always, The Science must have its way and The Science insists that if something is bad – as in undesirable – then it must be caused by Climate Change...
Hey but where is the evidence for CHANGE?
As in Climate Change?
There is none.

  • I wish I could say that this kind of reporting is an anomaly – the exception.
  • Unfortunately, it is not. It is now the norm.
We are fed a constant stream of propaganda in place of news – propaganda in place of science news – propaganda in place of science research findings.
Don’t ask me about politics.

To ‘decenter whiteness,’ UMich study says count staff by race at meetings - Micaiah Bilger

Report funded by Gates Foundation calls for ‘elevating [staff of color] knowledge’ in the workplace
A new University of Michigan report recommends ways higher education employers can “decenter whiteness” in their workplaces, including by counting staff by their race at meetings.
According to the report, universities need to do more to end the “structural racism” that is “embedded in the[ir] fabric,” and transform their institutions into “thriving” environments for staff of color...
  • One of the problems mentioned was expectations of professionalism on the job, according to the report.
  • Ángel, identified as a “Latinx” staff member, commented: “Any concept of professionalism is a huge one and how it’s been used or weaponized to particularly affect people of color.”...

Damning video exposes former Capitol Police Officer Harry Dunn's tortured relationship with Jan. 6 truth | Blaze Media

“Everything he did to establish his fame was done deceptively,” Baker said, recalling Dunn’s dramatic retelling of a briefing he attended at the Capitol early on Jan. 6. It was a meeting that security video proves never took place.

“When one opens their own narrative with so much detail about the time, the location, the content of the meeting that never happened,” Baker said in the film, “well, then everything else he says about January 6 must be called into question.”

Chinese Submarine That Sunk Had Exotic Hybrid Nuclear Powerplant: Report

New details are coming to light about China’s Type 041 Zhou class submarine and its experimental propulsion system. - THOMAS NEWDICK
  • The mysterious Chinese submarine that apparently sunk in a shipyard earlier this year was the first of a new class featuring a hybrid nuclear/conventional propulsion system, according to a new report...
  • In a recent report citing unnamed defense officials, the Washington Times notes that the Type 041 “employs both conventional and nuclear propulsion,” specifically, “a small nuclear reactor” in addition to a conventional powerplant...
  • The Type 039A is the first Chinese submarine with an air-independent propulsion (AIP) system, which greatly increases the time that it can remain submerged and makes it harder to detect, compared with traditional conventionally powered subs...

Legal team asks court to call immediate halt to ban on political parody * WorldNetDaily * by Bob Unruh

Legal team asks court to call immediate halt to ban on political parody * WorldNetDaily * by Bob Unruh

A legal team from the ADF is asking a federal court in California to put an immediate halt to a ban in the state on political parody.

That was imposed by Gov. Gavin Newsom just weeks ago.

"California's war against political memes is censorship, plain and simple. We shouldn't trust the government to decide what is true in our online political debates. Gov. Gavin Newsom recently signed two laws punishing political speech, with one law taking effect immediately, just as the election season heated up – a time when we need more speech, not less," explained Jonathan Scruggs, a lawyer with the organization.

Alarming rise of 'super-fit' slim young people suffering heart attacks as experts reveal theories for the surge | Daily Mail Online

Heart attacks were once thought of as a disease of age - but worrying new data shows they are increasing in healthy young adults. - Maiya Focht Health Reporter For
  • Roughly 0.3 percent of Americans aged 18-44 had a heart attack in 2019 - but last year that rose to 0.5 percent, or one in 200.
  • While that may still seem like a relatively low number, it represents a 66 percent increase in cases in just four years, which doctors call 'alarming.'
  • It also means that one in five heart attack patients are now younger than 40...

Vance gives CBS a 'masterclass' in how he deals with biased moderators * WorldNetDaily * by Bob Unruh

The moderators picked by CBS to run its vice presidential debate, between GOP candidate JD Vance and Democrat Tim Walz, were assessed by a multitude to have been biased toward the Democrat, just as the ABC moderators during the presidential debate a few weeks ago exhibited their bias.

And a commentator at the Daily Signal is crediting Vance with having delivered a "masterclass" to CBS in dealing with such partisanship.

Commentator Jarrett Stepman wrote, "Not only did Vance, Donald Trump's running mate, handle obviously skewed questions. He also refused to allow the moderators – a "CBS Evening News" anchor Norah O'Donnell and "Face the Nation" chief foreign affairs correspondent Margaret Brennan – to live "fact-check" him without calling them out on it."

Yes. They hate us. They really hate us!-----Woman Calls Helene God's Punishment on Trump Supporters Lincoln Brown

“Hurricane Helene…what if GOD is punishing MAGA populations for their hate and hypocrisy? Works for me!”
...Betsy Packard. According to the New York Post, Packard was at one time listed on the University of Kentucky's website as an MFA candidate at the school's College of Arts and Sciences and a graduate instructor. She even had a university email address.
On Sunday, she put up a post on X with a winking emoji that read, “Hurricane Helene…what if GOD is punishing MAGA populations for their hate and hypocrisy? Works for me!”
When X readers took her to task, she was oblivious to the crass nature of her remarks and opted to ratchet up the hate:

“You got hit with an Act of God. Looks like God’s pissed off at you,” she wrote in response to a poster bemoaning the small size of the National Guard deployment following the storm.

“An Act of God hammered you, and you still din’t [sic] hear Him? God is obviously mighty pissed at MAGAs. How can you not see this?” she mockingly asked another user.
