Soooo... The state Department of Public Schools dropped the points needed to be viewed as proficient in reading, math, etc | Facebook

In reading, the score was lowered from 60 pts to 48. - Mark
  • Even after lowering the needed scores the Milwaukee Public School students are STILL NOT scoring high enough to be viewed as proficient.
  • Additionally, the DPS has changed to language in describing how students are deemed 'proficient' and twisted the process for FOIA to make it very difficult to get the data...

Debt Doom is Coming - by Glenn Harlan Reynolds

Everybody knows it. Here's what to do. - by Glenn Harlan Reynolds

I don’t have any ideas either.
  • That is, I see no way, under current political constraints, to keep the debt from growing to the point at which it is not merely unsustainable, but actually causing fiscal collapse.
  •  As economist Herb Stein said, something that can’t go on forever, won’t...

Harris finally takes full ownership of every disastrous Biden policy | Blaze Media

'I've been a part of most of the decisions that have had impact.'
Democratic presidential nominee and Vice President Kamala Harris reaffirmed her alignment with President Joe Biden during an interview on Tuesday morning on "The View."

Harris was asked whether she would have "done something differently than President Biden during the past four years."

In her response, she ostensibly admitted that a Harris presidency would be no different from Biden's.

"There is not a thing that comes to mind in terms of — and I've been a part of most of the decisions that have had impact," she replied.

If CBS is going to dishonestly chop up their 60 Minutes interviews, they should at least make them fun.😁

KJP storms out when Doocy fights back against her accusation of 'misinformation' for asking basic question: 'Excuse me?!' | Blaze Media

Doocy wants to get answers for the American people. Press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre abruptly left the White House Briefing Room on Monday after she was confronted over the Biden administration's decision to send a new tranche of money to Lebanon. Just days after Hurricane Helene ravaged Appalachia, the State Department announced it will send approximately $157 million to Lebanon for "humanitarian assistance." At the same time the U.S. was sending taxpayers' hard-earned dollars to the Middle East, President Joe Biden sent congressional leaders a letter urging them to replenish disaster relief funds.

"Shut down the entitlement state & you solve most of the immigration problem right there...

Did Bill Nye Really Just Say That About Hurricane Milton?

Only MSNBC would trot out this clown to deliver such nonsense about Hurricane Milton. - Matt Vespa
Bill Nye was featured for a segment since every left-wing blowhard thinks hurricane season is some climate change phenomenon.
Without fail, this is where some people go.
  • To the public’s credit, it’s dismissed mainly since everyone has more important things to dwell on now. People are preparing for Milton in Florida, but Nye decided to drop his solution: if you want to stop these storms, vote for Kamala Harris in November.
I’m not kidding—he pretty much said that:

Few living Americans have stood longer against government persecution for their freedoms than Colorado baker Jack Phillips.
 - By The Editors
  • He has been repeatedly targeted under Colorado anti-discrimination law for adhering to his Christian faith.
  • At long last, his third legal saga is over after the Colorado supreme court on Tuesday rejected the latest lawsuit against him on procedural grounds.
  • After twelve years, Phillips is free of the courts.
  • We can only hope he stays free — and that his fellow citizens will, too.

Misinformation and hoaxes about Helene cloud recovery | AP News
BY DAVIDKLEPPER - WASHINGTON (AP) — The facts emerging from Hurricane Helene’s destruction are heartrending: Businesses and homes destroyed, whole communities nearly wiped out, hundreds of lives lost, hundreds of people missing.

Yet this devastation and despair is not enough for the extremist groups, disinformation agents, hucksters and politicians who are exploiting the disaster to spread false claims and conspiracy theories about it and the government’s response.

According to former President Donald Trump, the federal government is intentionally withholding aid to Republican disaster victims. Far-right extremist groups warn on social media that officials plan to bulldoze affected communities and seize the land from residents. A tale straight from science fiction asserts that Washington used weather control technology to steer Helene toward Republican voters in order to tilt the presidential election toward Democratic nominee Kamala Harris...

VIDEO: KJP Caught in Lie on Whether or Not FEMA Funds Used for Migrants

Meanwhile, critics have been blasting the Biden-Harris administration’s use of FEMA money as Americans in North Carolina are trying to put their lives back together following Hurricane Helene’s historic flooding that washed out roads, decimated homes, and took many lives.

“Vice President Kamala Harris announced a $100 million package to support the state,” the Fox report said. “Critics pointed out, however, that the package was much smaller than the $157 million in foreign humanitarian support Harris had announced for Lebanon the same day.”

On Thursday, Breitbart News reported that Department of Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas said FEMA lacked the money to make it through the remainder of hurricane season, which comes to a close on November 30.

The report also noted, “yet $640 million has been allotted to DHS specifically for issues related to illegal immigrants.”

John G. West - This is—or should be—a huge journalistic scandal.

60 Minutes/CBS has posted two entirely different versions of Harris's answer to the same exact question.

This is—or should be—a huge journalistic scandal. I had been waiting to comment until I was able to verify some things for myself. This much is now unquestionable in my view: 60 Minutes/CBS has posted two entirely different versions of Harris's answer to the same exact question. One answer is coherent. The other is a mess...
