Cheerios: Can they lower cholesterol, and alternatives
- The theory behind Cheerios being able to lower cholesterol stems from a General Mills-funded study in 1998 on whether whole grain oat, ready-to-eat cereals could influence cholesterol. Cheerios primarily consist of whole grain oats.
- The study found that those who ate oat cereal experienced reduced total cholesterol levels by 3.8% and reduced LDL-cholesterol levels by 4.2%...

'Incredibly intimate details': U.S. city accused of using 170 cameras for warrantless surveillance of population * WorldNetDaily * by Bob Unruh:
"Norfolk has created a dragnet that allows the government to monitor everyone's day-to-day movements without a warrant or probable cause. This type of mass surveillance is a blatant violation of the Fourth Amendment," said IJ lawyer Michael Soyfer.
Making the violation worse, the institute noted, is that since Flock "pools its data in a centralized database, police across the entire country can access over 1 billion monthly datapoints. That means not just tracking drivers within a particular jurisdiction, but potentially across the entire nation."
Harris Says She Would Take Cognitive Test, Rebuffing Trump's 'Very Low IQ' Insults | National Review
“Sure, I would challenge him to take the same one,” Harris said when asked by CBS News anchor Norah O’Donnell over the weekend whether she’d take a cognitive test.
- Vice President Kamala Harris said she would take a cognitive test in response to former president Donald Trump’s insults about her low intelligence, challenging her opponent to do the same.
- Harris responded to Trump’s Friday remarks in a nearly three-hour interview with podcast king Joe Rogan, in which the GOP nominee called Harris “a very low IQ person” and said she needs to take a cognitive test...
- “This is what he has resorted to, and I think he actually is increasingly unstable and unhinged and has resorted to name calling because he actually has no plan for the American people,” Harris said, while she was campaigning in Kalamazoo, Mich...

Meet the atypical biblical prophet who empowers us to navigate a godless culture | Blaze Media
Meet the atypical biblical prophet who empowers us to navigate a godless culture | Blaze Media:
What a powerful picture of Habakkuk's inner strength rooted in God.
Though his circumstances are grim and his homeland is desolate, Habakkuk orients his heart toward hope and truth. He went from deeply discouraged to rejoicing in the Lord. Nothing changed except his perspective. Habakkuk went from looking at his circumstances to beholding God — and that made all the difference. Just as the hind climbs up steep cliffs without losing her footing, God gives us the same ability to navigate the rough terrain of life and the hardships that often feel unbearably heavy. His strength, not ours.
I find myself feeling like Habakkuk did centuries ago. Our current situation may not be as dire as Jerusalem's under siege, but we nonetheless see enough challenges in our day to relate to Habakkuk’s state of despondency.
Their hate is consuming them. What will happen when they lose??!!-----'Shameful' MSNBC blasted for splicing Nazi rally clips into coverage of Trump's MSG rally
‘Incitement’ - By Patrick Reilly
- MSNBC is facing fierce backlash for using Nazi rally clips during its coverage of former President Donald Trump’s historic campaign event at Madison Square Garden on Sunday.
- “But that jamboree happening right now, you see it there on your screen in that place is particularly chilling because in 1939, more than 20,000 supporters of a different fascist leader, Adolf Hitler, packed the Garden for a so-called pro-America rally,” the anchor said while rolling the footage...

Feel-good environmental rules won't save the planet, but they do hurt consumers * WorldNetDaily * by Nate Scherer, Real Clear Wire
Feel-good environmental rules won't save the planet, but they do hurt consumers * WorldNetDaily * by Nate Scherer, Real Clear Wire:
The fight against climate change is increasingly riddled with lawmakers' feel-good attempts to save the planet by imposing top-down regulations that do nothing in the way of meaningfully reducing global temperatures or cutting pollution. However, these "feel-good" regulations have a familiar habit of harming consumers by eliminating popular goods and services or making them more expensive.
The latest example of such a regulation comes courtesy of California, where lawmakers recently passed a second ban on plastic grocery bags after the first attempt ended in failure.
I tried to vote today but couldn't!
I tried to vote today but couldn't!
We have 9 days of early voting in MI, so I decided I'd wait a few days to avoid the rush and give it a try.
Only one location in the county (in a deep blue area) for most early-voters but since most will be voting absentee, I figured a quick in-and-out at 11am today.
WRONG!
Parking lot seemed busy and folks were coming in from every direction.
A nice-looking 20ish woman was walking in and I asked "are you voting today?"
Is "something" happening?

A nice-looking 20ish woman was walking in and I asked "are you voting today?"
- She smiled and said yes. I asked why not simply send in her absentee ballot and she said "I don't trust the post office".
- The place was packed, at least 50 in line to begin the process! And all the voting cubbies filled.
- It seemed to be moving along fine but people continued to stream in actually increasing the line

“Was the 2020 election stolen?”
Clarice Feldman - Keep making Zuckerberg the Dem flak... | Facebook Cleta
...2) the question that Joe Rogan asked President Trump: “Was the 2020 election stolen?”
My answer: I don’t say it was stolen in the normal sense of the word. What I say is what I know, and what many of us in the election integrity movement can confirm: the election process was taken over by leftwing activist groups who had burrowed into election systems across the country by the time of the 2020 election. And they manipulated the election system in myriad ways in state after state. You can find solid data and evidence of the manipulation of the 2020 election in work by Dr. John Droz, Joe Fried’s book “Debunked”, Mollie Hemingway’s book, “Rigged”, Citizens United’s movie “Rigged” (about the Zuckerbuxx impact and studies by myriad sources...

Our sons deserve to dress like men | Blaze Media:
Our sons are born into a world of moral and aesthetic chaos. There are no rules, no expectations, no limits.
The barriers that frame our traditionally fixed forms are broken down in front of our very eyes. Any sense of hierarchy is eviscerated. The definitions of man and woman are mutilated. Sacred and profane are turned in a blender together. Culture is flattened, and American aesthetics are forgotten.
