Federal law enforcement has apparently been using financial institutions to scrape private information about Americans without warrants.
Congressional investigators released an interim report Friday detailing some of the creative ways that the Biden administration has apparently sidestepped the legal process in order to spy on and track American citizens, particularly those who have expressed opinions and political views unfavorable to the powers that be.

President-elect Donald Trump picked two men Thursday with deep immigration-enforcement experience as his nominees to run the two key enforcement agencies that handle the border and deportations.
He named Rodney Scott, a former chief of the Border Patrol and a severe critic of the Biden team, to be head of Customs and Border Protection. And he tapped Caleb Vitello, a long-time deportation officer, to run U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
Mr. Scott is a particularly bold choice.

The woman had made the simple mistake of feeling sympathy and offering money to one of them while her car was stopped at a traffic light, apparently signaling to the others nearby that they were a soft target for extortion. Our local tour guide, Naveen, informed us that the group likely would not let that car go until its members had collected a satisfactory amount of money for each person around the car. Naveen also noted that such incidents involving aggressive transgender mobs are commonplace in Delhi.

Strangely, the church doesn’t seem to be all that interested in understanding the Jordan Peterson phenomenon, much less the rest of the men’s influencer archipelago ranging from the healthy (like former Navy SEAL Jocko Willink) to the dubious (like the infamous Andrew Tate). It has continued with legacy strategies that appeal to some but are clearly not as effective as what online influencers are doing.
Some of the appeal of online influencers is understandable. There’s a sort of edgy, transgressive, “bro” vibe. Some of what is being sold here, such as pickup artistry, are things the church should flat-out reject regardless of how big the market for it might be.
