You don't hate the media enough!-----Supercut: 2024’s Most Mortifying Media Moments

One of the problems of being a professional liar in the age of the internet is that it makes your job especially challenging.

Worst Homelessness Crisis Ever! Those On The Low End Of The Economic Spectrum Are Being Absolutely Pulverized By This Economy

All over America, our core urban areas are teeming with tent cities, hordes of homeless drug addicts, and vast throngs of newly arrived migrants that don’t have anywhere to go. - Michael Snyder
Fast forward to today, and homelessness in the U.S. has reached another all-time record high, and it is increasing at an even faster pace.
  • We are literally in the midst of the worst homelessness crisis that our federal government has ever measured, and there is no end in sight...
  • On Friday, the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development revealed that the homeless population in the U.S. jumped 18 percent in just one year…

Roger Stone: 'Parallels' Between JFK Assassination, Attempt on Trump 'Uncanny'

PHOENIX, Arizona — Political adviser Roger Stone shed light on peculiarities surrounding the two failed assassination attempts on President-elect Donald Trump, telling Breitbart News that “the parallels” between those attempts and the assassination of President John F. Kennedy “are uncanny,” adding, “The problem is, it cycled in and out of the news.”

After being asked if people will ever get answers about what happened in Butler, Pennsylvania, on July 13, Stone replied, “In 2015, I wrote a book on the assassination of President John F. Kennedy. It’s called The Man who Killed Kennedy: The Case Against LBJ. It’s a New York Times best seller. But when I look at that, and I look at this, the parallels are uncanny.”

Supercut: 2024’s Most Mortifying Media Moments

If there is a trend we've discovered over the last 8 years of creating this year-end compilations, it's the corporate media's increasingly transparent desperation to ensure Americans obey our self-appointed philosopher kings - Tom Elliott
And it's probably for this reason that trust in the media collapsed this year to historic lows...
So don't blame us when you notice that most of this year's most mortifying media moments are political. Their obsession is not something we're able to cure...
  1.  ...In July someone at the White House had the bright idea of labeling viral clips of Biden's dementia as "cheap fakes." Being cheap fakes themselves, the thought manipulators at CNN/MSNBC/etc. all dutifully began employing this term themselves.
  1. In an attempted "gotcha," CNN's British reporter, Donie O'Sullivan visited Trump rallies and interviewed MAGA voters about their thoughts on "democracy." When Mr. Sullivan was corrected that the United States is a republic, not a democracy, O'Sullivan became incredulous, reaching to "experts" like Anne Applebaum to explain that anyone who disagrees with progressives' contemporary notion of the United States being a pure democracy are themselves fringe cranks hellbent on "attacking democracy."
  1. Trying to breathe enthusiasm into Kamala's comatosed candidacy, professionals of journalism volunteered as hype men at the DNC Convention, informing viewers the energy inside was absolutely electric. Ultimately when it came time to manufacture ratings for Kamala's primetime address, CNNMSDNCABCBS circulated rumors of an imminent Beyonce performance ... but the beehive was not to be, and that DNC fable turned out to be just as fake as the crowds they were paying to attend Kamala's rallies...

Five 'Accomplishments' Joe Biden Touts As Successes - but Which Were Failures

Befuddled and confused, inarticulate, showing flashes of unfounded anger and creepy whispering, Joe Biden will go down in history as one of the worst presidents in the history of the republic. - Ward Clark
But he's not going quietly into that good night; instead, he's touting five so-called "accomplishments" of his term that, against all available evidence, he (or whoever is pulling his strings) see as successes.
  • The president’s first two years in particular saw a number of bipartisan bills reach his desk at a time when Democrats controlled the House and had the majority in a 50-50 Senate.
One of the big ones - the "Inflation Reduction Act" - opened the doors to a pile of spending on everything but reducing inflation.
  • Biden made good on a key campaign promise when he nominated Ketanji Brown Jackson to serve on the Supreme Court. She became the first Black woman to serve on the nation’s highest court.
Let's be brutally honest here: Ketanji Brown Jackson was appointed because she was a black woman... which made her approval by the Senate following the embarrassing "I'm not a biologist" comment all the more inexplicable.
  • Another of Biden’s most high profile campaign promises was to forgive student loan debt, and while the effort was caught up in various lawsuits, he ultimately found ways to deliver relief to millions of Americans.
This may be the dumbest take on the "student loan forgiveness" debacle I've ever seen...

Study of American history seeing an unprecedented renewal * WorldNetDaily * by Jack Miller, Michael Poliakoff, Real Clear Wire

The study of American history and government is undergoing an unprecedented renewal, akin to the phoenix – a mythical bird that is reborn by rising from the ashes of its predecessor.

Major universities have recently launched independent institutes, sometimes called "schools of civic thought," dedicated to the in-depth exploration of an American political tradition that goes beyond partisan politics. These institutes have independent hiring authority and significant state funding.

Can Trump Fire Key Federal Bureaucrats?

They Are at It Again. Prominent 'Public Health' Voices Lay the Groundwork for a New Pandemic for Trump

These virus scares plow through the media about annually. As recently as August, we were warned about a monkeypox pandemic. - By streiff
As President-elect Trump prepares to take office, so-called public health activists are ginning up a new pandemic.
This one is "bird flu."
Not the bird flu that's been around for decades, but a new one that infects livestock and could possibly mutate into a killer virus much worse than COVID...

Highlights of the year - Don Surber

The story of the year is not that President Trump won but that the deep state failed.
Tomorrow night the world turns 2025 and it will look a day older than 2024 because that is what it will be.
The story of the year is not that President Trump won but that the deep state failed.
  • Its civil lawsuits failed.
  • Its criminal trials failed.
  • Its attempt to disqualify him under the14th Amendment failed.
  • And its attempt to assassinate him
  • and throw the Republican convention in chaos also failed.
The Lord intervened on the last one because he is not through with Donald John Trump.
Don’t bother buckling your seats.
We have airbags now.

The “Hot Assassin” Cult and the Path to the Moral Abyss

If 40 percent of Americans approve of cold-blooded murder, then we are headed for the moral abyss. - Adm Jim
Now we can add to that fictional list of grotesqueries a few not-at-all fictional categories which not long ago would have been regarded as quite simply unthinkable.
  • After the hell on earth which descended upon innocent Israeli families in their homes and young people attending a music rally on October 7, 2023, and the sickening campus protests in support of the Hamas animals who conducted the slaughter: Barbarity is heroism.
  • After the true heroism of Daniel Penny in that subway car in May 2023 which almost certainly saved the lives of several people who were likely to be assaulted by the drug addled and mentally disturbed person screaming threats at them for which he was charged with second degree manslaughter, a felony carrying a prison sentence of up to 20 years by the radical Manhattan DA : Heroism is murder.
  • And after the stone-cold murder of the CEO of an insurance company executive on the street in New York City- shot in the back which until only recently was regarded as the most heinous of cowardly acts- the murderer is widely admired as “the hot assassin” by his many cult followers online because he “took out” the head of a despised “evil” healthcare insurer:  Murder is heroism...

FLASHBACK: Jonathan S. Tobin: Don’t believe the Jimmy Carter revisionists.
Despite the natural sympathy for a dying man, the revisionist attempt to erase his failures and their consequences should not prevail:

...the campaign to revive his reputation is already in full swing. In the last month since the news about his terminal illness was released, articles and opinion pieces boosting the 98-year-old and attempting to depict his single term in office as both underappreciated and unfairly attacked have proliferated.

And with the help of one of the men who gave us Rathergate in 2004, the spin has already begun! Malaise Memory Loss...

Ezra Klein, formerly of The American Prospect and now with the New York Times, began the Carter rehabilitation tour way back in 2009 by trying to explain how, ackchyually, his “Malaise Speech” really wasn’t such a bad moment after all.-

Police accused Roda Osman, a University of Texas-Austin graduate student, of theft after she raised $40,000 on the pretense she was the victim of assault. Rather, video shows her taking the first swing during an argument. She disputes the criminal charges.
2. Illinois State University can’t ‘verify the use of a racial slur’ by a fan...

Illegal aliens in Michigan likely won't get driver's licenses as Democratic 'trifecta' nears end | Blaze Media

The chances that illegal aliens residing in Michigan will secure a driver's license have tanked now that the legislative session is nearing a close, bringing with it an end to Democratic "trifecta" control over the state House, Senate, and governor's office. In the weeks leading up to Christmas, Michigan Democrats scrambled to pass a flurry of bills to address many of their pet projects. Among them was the Drive SAFE bill, which would have allowed individuals to obtain a state driver's license without furnishing proof of citizenship or legal residency.

Instapundit - Jimmy Carter Was a Better President than You Think.

Former President Jimmy Carter Has Passed Away. -

As P.J. O’Rourke wrote in his classic 1993 American Spectator article, “100 Reasons Why Jimmy Carter Was a Better President than Bill Clinton:”

98. Carter let the Soviets have Angola, Ethiopia, and South Yemen. And, in retrospect, the Soviets deserved no better.

99. Carter wasn’t a throwback to the Carter era.

100. And let us not forget that Jimmy Carter gave us one thing Bill Clinton can never possibly give us—Ronald Reagan...
