Private Servers Were Recommended: Clinton | The Daily Caller:
"Democratic presidential nominee and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton claimed publicly for the first time in a recent CBS News “60 Minutes” interview that using private email servers was “recommended” to her.
The revelation — highlighted in a Judicial Watch lawsuit against the State Department — raises new unanswered questions about who may have suggested or influenced Clinton’s decision to relay sensitive and classified State Department information on private channels."

IRS looking into Clinton Foundation 'pay-to-play' claims
IRS looking into Clinton Foundation 'pay-to-play' claims | Fox News:
"The IRS confirmed in a letter it is looking into claims of “pay-to-play” practices at the Clinton Foundation, after dozens of Republican lawmakers requested a review of potential “criminal conduct” at the organization founded by the family at the center of this week’s Democratic National Convention.
Commissioner John Koskinen wrote in a July 22 letter to Republican Rep. Marsha Blackburn that the issue has been “forwarded” to the IRS “Exempt Organizations Examinations” program in Dallas.
“This program considers all referrals and will send you a separate acknowledgement letter when it receives your information,” he wrote, in a letter first reported by The Daily Caller.
It’s unclear whether the agency might take any further action.
The letter noted that, under the law, they could not reveal “any actions we may take on this information.”
A Clinton Foundation source, though, rejected reporting that the letter indicates an investigation.
“Nowhere does this letter say that there’s an investigation, or that the IRS is even considering an investigation,” the source said. "

Are You Better Off Than You Were 7 Years Ago?
Are You Better Off Than You Were 7 Years Ago? | Stock News & Stock Market Analysis - IBD
President Obama says by most measures people in the country are better off.
But he ignores all those measures that show families falling behind while he's been president.
Economy:
While patting himself on the back in his speech at the Democratic Convention, President Obama said that "by so many measures, our country is stronger and more prosperous than it was when we started."
Clearly, Obama needs a new ruler.
The question isn't whether the country is better off than it was when Obama took office — when it was still in a recession — it's whether the country is better off than it was when the recovery started almost exactly seven years ago.
Using that as the gauge, many Americans — by several measures — are actually worse off after seven years of Obama's "recovery" than they were just as the recession was ending.
That's an incredible testament to the abject failure of Obamanomics, not a legacy that anyone should hope will continue into the next administration.
Let's run some of the numbers:
How does Obama square these facts with his sunny outlook? He doesn't. He just ignores them. But the public knows what's going on..."

That's an incredible testament to the abject failure of Obamanomics, not a legacy that anyone should hope will continue into the next administration.
Let's run some of the numbers:
- More in poverty: During Obama's "recovery," 3.1 million people fell into poverty, and the poverty rate climbed from 14.3% in 2009 to 14.8% in 2014, according to Census.
- Lower household incomes: Census data show that only the top 40% of households made gains in income under Obama, while the remaining 60% saw their incomes shrink between 2009 and 2014. The bottom 20%, for example, saw their incomes decline by 8.4% over those years.
- More on food stamps: There were 8.7 million more people on food stamps this April (the last year for which data are available) than there were when recovery started, according to the Department of Agriculture.
- More labor dropouts: While the number of people who are unemployed fell by about 7 million between June 2009 and today, the number who are no longer in the labor force — either because they've quite looking for work or retired — climbed an astonishing 14 million.
- Less optimism: In June 2009, the IBD/TIPP Economic Optimism Index was 50.8 — anything above 50 represents optimistic, under 50 pessimism. This July, the Optimism Index was 45.5. And while 52% of the public thought the country was headed in the wrong direction, 64% feel that way now.

“I heard what he said. He did not call on the Russians to hack into Hillary’s computer,” Bolton said. “He was making the point – I understood it when I heard it the first time;
I’m sure most people did – that the Russians probably already had her emails.
They got them when Hillary put them in that unsecured email server.”
“What Trump was saying was the Russians are already there.
They probably know more about Hillary’s email than the FBI because Hillary’s lawyers erased all those 30,000 emails that were not turned over to the State Department,” Bolton noted, adding:

I think he was dinging the Democrats for being more concerned about the just terrible emails we saw out of the DNC than the security risk that Hillary created by her own actions. And I think the Democrats are scared to death that the Russians, or somebody, does have all those emails that are not about her yoga lessons and Chelsea’s wedding, but are about the Clinton Foundation..."

Anyone can now print out all TSA master keys:
"Shortly after The Washington Post inadvertently published a photo of seven TSA master keys, a group of security experts were able to copy their designs and release their 3D models online.
Now, these same experts have deciphered the secrets of the eighth and last master key the agency uses even without a photo to guide them.
The first seven keys are manufactured by a company called Travel Sentry, while this one is by a separate manufacturer named Safe Skies.
Since the hackers didn't have a photo of the last key, they bought as many Safe Skies locks as possible, took them apart and examined their innards.
Anyone with access to a 3D printer can now reproduce all eight keys..."

Hilarious! The Dems have to put the words of the Pledge of Allegiance on the TelePrompTer
And, of course, the organizers were probably right, as many on the left have likely deliberately blocked from their minds that patriarchal pledge to the sexistracistbigotedhomophobic American empire, which they blame for every bad thing that's ever happened. So, yeah, putting the words to the pledge, though a little embarrassing, was better than the optics of a bunch of people mouthing "watermelon," or worse.
One participant noted that many in attendance used the pledge as an opportunity to decry the injustice of America by screaming "with liberty and justice FOR ALL! FOR ALL!"
As I Predicted, Seattle's Minimum Wage Rise Is Reducing Employment
As I Predicted, Seattle's Minimum Wage Rise Is Reducing Employment - Forbes
"...My claim was, by the standards of basic and conventional economics, entirely uncontroversial.
A rise in the price of something will lead to people purchasing less of that thing.
So a rise in the price of low-skill labor will lead to employers purchasing less of low-skill labor.
The claim is not (and never has been) that raising Seattle’s minimum wage will cause the economy to become some howling wasteland of huddled masses desperately looking for a job.
It is that with a higher minimum wage there will be less low-skill employment than without a raise in that minimum wage.
And yes, of course the effects of a minimum wage are going to be marginal when laid against all the other things that can happen to a labor market. (But remember that all economics happens at the margins.)
This is, as I said, conventional economics.
And yet I’ve been pilloried as “not getting it” by those who believe in some alternative universe where the simplicity of economics do not hold.
But now we have a report on exactly what has been happening in Seattle’s labor market.
Seattle’s labor market has thrived since the city became the first major metropolis in the country to pass a law setting its minimum wage on a path to $15 per hour.
The city’s job-growth rate has been triple the national average, for example.
Much of that success, though, can be attributed to trends separate from the minimum-wage law itself, such as the growth of Seattle’s tech sector and its construction boom, according to a new report that University of Washington researchers presented to the City Council on Monday.
I have no problem with any of that. Employment is up, unemployment is down.
But those other factors entirely swamp the effects of a minimum wage change.
The report also notes:
Pay for low-wage workers climbed more in real Seattle than in synthetic Seattle, while their employment rate and hours climbed slightly less.
That’s the important finding here.
Employment rates and hours climbed because the economy is booming.
But they climbed less in areas where the minimum wage was raised than they did in areas where it was not.
The difference between those two is the employment lost to the higher minimum wage..."

COLUMBUS (WCMH) – Googling the presidential candidates Wednesday morning didn’t produce the exact results some people would expect.
Searching for the term ‘presidential candidates’ brought up a handy guide above all of the other search results with pictures of candidates with active campaigns. Clicking on a picture brought up searches for the candidates.
The only problem is that Republican candidate Donald Trump wasn’t included. Neither was Libertarian nominee Gary Johnson.
NBC4 reached out to Google to ask about the issue. Around noon Wednesday, Trump and Johnson were both added back to the Google search results. Results were shown for Hillary Clinton, Bernie Sanders and Green Party candidate Jill Stein.
Google then sent the following statement to NBC4 in regards to what caused some candidates to disappear from its search results:
We found a technical bug in Search where only the presidential candidates participating in an active primary election were appearing in a Knowledge Graph result. Because the Republican and Libertarian primaries have ended, those candidates did not appear. This bug was resolved early this morning.” — Google Spokesperson

"Five hundred years ago Sir Thomas More chose to go to the executioner’s block, rather than take an oath pledging loyalty to the tyrannical dictates of Henry VIII and a regime that violated his conscience.
Today people of conscience are again being put to the test, this time by cultural radicals, especially those ruthlessly pushing the LGBTQ agenda. Their latest weapon is to require that the modern day equivalent of loyalty oaths be forced on those seeking to get or keep employment."

Project Veritas Hidden Camera Video: Gun Control Is Code
Project Veritas Hidden Camera Video: Gun Control Is Code | The Daily Caller:
"The latest video from Project Veritas shows Mary Bayer, a former Democratic delegate and a volunteer organizer for Hillary Clinton’s campaign, admitting that the party is using “common sense” gun control to trick America into supporting a ban on all firearms and effectively repealing the Second Amendment.
WATCH:
“Oh, absolutely,” Bayer stated when asked by an undercover PV reporter — posing as a gun-control advocate — if she favored banning guns.
“I’m totally against them, and my husband is against guns. My husband is now a registered Democrat.”
“You know how you do it?” Bayer posed.
“You got to get Democrats in office… You got to get enough people in there to vote the right way.”
The PV journalist then told Bayer “well, we can’t say we want to ban guns.
Can we do that?
We got to hit that.”
“Right,” Bayer agreed.
“You got to say you want ‘common sense gun legislation.’ … you say you want to ban guns altogether, that’s just going to piss everybody off.”
“You have to take that sort of moderate, ‘we just want to have common sense legislation so our children are safe!’
You say shit like that, and then people will buy into it.”
Additionally, Bayer responded, “for sure,” when asked if Hillary would support and press a full ban of firearms."

Ex-New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani Slams Democratic Party: ‘They’re Living in a Fantasy World’ | TheBlaze.com:
"“This whole thing about emails is getting to be exceedingly dangerous,” he said. “The pattern that emerges is: Hillary Clinton couldn’t keep top-secret emails safe, nor can the Democratic National Committee.”
The former mayor said there is “no doubt’ that foreign entities gained access to Clinton’s private email server that she used during her tenure as secretary of state, and “guaranteed” that the thousands of missing emails “contain incriminating information.”
“If they can hack the DNC’s computers, which [are] much better defended … than her computer, there’s no question they hacked hers,” he said. “So those emails are being held by people and should be released before the election. If they’re not released before the election, they can be used to extort her, they can be used to influence her, they can be used to threaten her.”"

Study Finds Sharp Increase in Marijuana Exposure Among Colorado Children - The New York Times:
"To a child on the prowl for sweets, that brownie, cookie or bear-shaped candy left on the kitchen counter is just asking to be gobbled up.
