Confirmed: John Brennan Colluded With Foreign Spies to Defeat TrumpThe American Spectator:

Image result for Flicker Commons images John Brennan"John Brennan’s CIA operated like a branch office of the Hillary campaign, leaking out mentions of this bogus investigation to the press in the hopes of inflicting maximum political damage on Trump. An official in the intelligence community tells TAS that Brennan’s retinue of political radicals didn’t even bother to hide their activism, decorating offices with “Hillary for president cups” and other campaign paraphernalia.
A supporter of the American Communist Party at the height of the Cold War, Brennan brought into the CIA a raft of subversives and gave them plum positions from which to gather and leak political espionage on Trump. He bastardized standards so that these left-wing activists could burrow in and take career positions. Under the patina of that phony professionalism, they could then present their politicized judgments as “non-partisan.”"

"The Counseling and Mental Health Center at the University of Texas at Austin recently launched a new program to help male students “take control over their gender identity and develop a healthy sense of masculinity.”
Treating masculinity as if it were a mental health crisis, “MasculinUT” is organized by the school’s counseling staff and most recently organized a poster series encouraging students to develop a “healthy model of masculinity.”
The program is predicated on a critique of so-called “restrictive masculinity.”
Men, the program argues, suffer when they are told to “act like a man” or when they are encouraged to fulfill traditional gender roles, such as being “successful” or “the breadwinner.”...

He was also convicted of the 1971 murder of a California cop.

Seriously? Facebook Says "Kill Trump, Hang Him, Hunt Him" Page Does Not Violate Community Standards

Seriously? Facebook Says "Kill Trump, Hang Him, Hunt Him" Page Does Not Violate Community Standards:
"Tech Giants Google and Facebook are currently purging conservative content from Facebook and YouTube — They are hiding conservative stories on Google — They are shadow-banning conservative news on all social media.
In February Facebook launched a new algorithm to ensure that conservative news would not spread on the social media platform.

This was after Facebook announced it was losing 50,000,000 user hours a day in the previous quarter.

The algorithm change caused President Donald Trump’s engagement on Facebook posts to plummet a whopping 45%.
In contrast, Senators Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) and Bernie Sanders (I-VT) do not appear to have suffered a comparable decline in Facebook engagement.

Top conservative Facebook pages with daily traffic in the millions have seen 75% to 95% drop in traffic.

Young Cons, Western Journalism, SarahPalin.com, Independent Journal ReviewRight Wing News, and several others have seen dramatic loss in traffic.
...But at the same time Facebook allows hateful pages calling for President Trump’s assassination.
Facebook administrators recently decided the “Kill Trump, Hang Him, Hunt Him” page did not violate community standards.
Unbelievable.
A screenshot of the report was posted by comedian Owen Benjamin, who was banned earlier this month.

Judge rules New York City bar can refuse service to Trump supporter wearing MAGA hat | Fox News:

Image result for Make America Great Again Hat"A Manhattan judge ruled Wednesday that kicking a Trump supporter out of a bar does not violate the law — because the law does not protect against political discrimination.
Greg Piatek of Philadelphia claims he was refused service and eventually removed from a New York City bar in January 2017 for wearing a “Make America Great Again” hat, in a lawsuit against the establishment.
“Anyone who supports Trump – or believes in what you believe – is not welcome here! And you need to leave right now because we won’t serve you!” Piatek claims the staff of The Happiest Hour told him."

5 Telltale Signs That You’re a Sapiosexual"Is there anything more complex and multifaceted than human attraction?  My best friend and myself have discussed in the past how different we are when it comes to the women that we find attractive.
...When it comes to finding a partner, however, there is usually one trait that sticks out for both of us, and that’s intelligence.
A beautiful mind never goes underrated.
And if you’re a sapiosexualthen you’re probably like us–you value a person’s mind over their body.
Here are five signs that you’re a sapiosexual:
...5) They value correct grammar over a duckface
When you can successfully navigate the different meanings and usages of words like ‘their,’ ‘they’re,’ and ‘there,’ the sapiosexual finds it super sexy.  They don’t have time for conventional errors or the people who make them. (h/t IdeaPod)

How the Greenwashed Liberal Gentry Keep Out the Rabble | The American Conservative
"...Wiener’s bill was aimed at addressing a crisis in his city: the lack of affordable housing.
Image result for streisand effectToday, the median home price in San Francisco is $1.6 million, about eight times the national median.
...Wiener’s bill would have addressed this problem by partially overriding local zoning restrictions on housing density, specifically on height limits, in areas served by mass transit.
It’s hard to think of a bill more friendly to the masses than that.
Yet Wiener ran into a wall of liberal Democratic opposition—the vice mayor of Beverly Hills was a particularly vocal opponent—and thus the bill died on April 17.
Why the fierce opposition?
Perhaps it’s because the dominant progressive voices in California are, in fact, regressive.
Image result for streisand effectThat is, they prefer to protect the privileges of the landed—who benefit, of course, from high land prices—as opposed to the aspirations of the landless.
In history, such behavior is nothing new.
Indeed, with historical continuity in mind, urban analysts Joel Kotkin and Fred Siegel back in 2007 coined the term “gentry liberalism” to describe this age-old phenomenon.
Gentry liberalism recalls the aristocratic, even feudal, days of yore when the lords in their estates didn’t wish to be crowded by the bourgeoisie, to say nothing of the peasantry..."

Don Surber: Britain revives the death penalty -- for children:
"On August 13, 1964, Britain executed Peter Anthony Allen and Gwynne Owen Evans for the murder of John Alan West.
This was supposed to be the last executions by the state in that nation.
But nearly 53 years later, Britain executed Charles Matthew William Gard.
Image result for Alfie EvansHis death was not by hanging.
They did not draw and quarter him.
The British did something far worse.
They starved him to death by denying him medical treatment because the treatment was too expensive.
Charlie was 11 months old.
His death at the hands of government come from the same people who lecture Americans on how we let people die because we don't have socialized medicine -- a lie -- we provide the best care for the poor through Medicaid.
The British refused to allow his parents to seek treatment in the United States.
Now the same Britons want to kill Alfie Evans, another child whose crime is costing the state to much money for medical treatment.
I visited London for a week in 1977 when I was 23.
I always planned to return when I retired.
That dream is as dead as disco.
And Charlie.

Andrew Cuomo sent a “cease and desist” letter to federal immigration authorities Wednesday, ordering them to alert state and local police before they attempt any more arrests and demanding they leave some illegal immigrants alone altogether.
He also said he was issuing an executive order banning ICE officers from making arrests at state prisons and jails, and ordered agencies not to ask about immigration status. He was hoping to deny federal authorities information that could lead to future deportations.
“I think it’s time a state stood up to ICE and made this case and let them know that people have rights,” the governor said, accusing the federal government of “stoking terror among law-abiding residents.”
His move puts New York back in stiff competition with California in the battle for the title of the country’s premier sanctuary state — "

Maine Democrats Vote Down Bill Banning FGM | Trending:

Image result for flickr commons images Maine State Capital"If ever there was a bipartisan cause in this country, shouldn't it be banning female genital mutilation? Well, a bill banning FGM in the state of Maine was just voted down -- along party lines.
As Townhall's Elizabeth Yore reports, "69 GOP (and 1 Dem) [voted] for the bill and 77 Dems and Independents [voted[ against an FGM bill that would criminalize female genital mutilation."
Yore continues: "The Democratic House legislators who voted against this FGM bill curiously argued that 'FGM doesn’t happen in Maine,' despite the fact that Maine is one of only eight federal pilot programs to address the exponential growth of FGM in America. If little girls in Maine are not at risk for FGM, then why is Maine receiving more than $200,000 a year from the federal government to help prevent FGM?""

One source told Fox News that approximately 50 pages of texts were provided to lawmakers. The source added that the messages were incomplete, garbled and in some cases incomprehensible because characters were substituted for letters."

Why America Has a Generation of ‘Little Men’ | Intellectual Takeout

Why America Has a Generation of ‘Little Men’ | Intellectual Takeout:
"There’s a lot of talk these days about the problem with young, uninspired, and allegedly lazy males.
...this problem is evident in the fact that all the young men around them seem to have “gotten really soft.”
There are many theories as to why these problems are intensifying...
... there is another that we may have overlooked.
Image result for young men wimpsThis theory is one advanced in the 1930 book The Conquest of Happiness, written by British philosopher Bertrand Russell.
In his book, Russell argues that children need to learn to deal with boredom early in life.
As Russell saw it, too many modern parents (and by extension one could argue teachers and other adults influential in children’s lives) whip their children around from one activity to the next.
In doing this, they teach children to love pleasure and become addicted to excitement.
Instead, Russell urges parents to let their children – particularly boys – have times of “fruitful monotony,” in which they can be busy and working, but not necessarily in an activity that is exciting or stimulating:
“A boy or young man who has some serious constructive purpose will endure voluntarily a great deal of boredom if he finds that it is necessary by the way.
But constructive purposes do not easily form themselves in a boy’s mind if he is living a life of distractions and dissipations, for in that case his thoughts will always be directed towards the next pleasure rather than towards the distant achievement.”
Those who fail to follow this advice with their children, Russell notes, stand to reap serious problems in future years..."
